We got our return in a couple weeks. This was back in early to mid Feb. when "everyone" that knows they're getting a return is filing...

Ya know, just something I noticed throughout my childhood, comparing my immediate family with select other parts of my family: My mom raised my sister and I, working a full-time job that didn't pay enough to make it, and got assitance in the form of food stamps. We had very little extra. We didn't have the video games (we played that stuff at our friends' houses) name brand clothing (nope, no Levi's, even) no cable TV, etc... Things were tough. Then I had some family members that did not work, collected a welfare check, always had LOT's of money (buying and selling cars was a big thing for some of them and some made really big money for the times) all the movie channels on cable, kids had everything they wanted, etc.... Yeah, life is fair for those that work hard..... I wish my mom was still around to see that I'm trying to live a better life than the rest of our family.

That would be funny even if I was an Obama supporter! That one is clever!

I can't believe I'm just reading this thread! Don't worry guys, I get discrimination as well. I ride a lowly 250. Mr.A get's it even worse, being latino AND riding a 250! Are you riding along on the CSBA ride Mr.A? I hope not, I want to be the fastest 250 of the day!

But, what if it's at a snail's pace? How much skill would it take to "power-walk" it all the way? THAT strategy MIGHT get a Katana through Kershocten!

That's one reason that I didn't buy gear with bike brand names on it. I don't think I'd buy a jacket that has too big of a logo on it for the manufacturer of the jacket, either. I wear Iron Pony t-shirts all the time, because they were free, and to maybe have someone talk about RIDING, not JUST what kind of bike do you ride. Just about the only brands I rock the name on clothing is Chevrolet, Mac Tools, and Snap-on. They're products that I DO have some loyalty toward, although I do drive a Dodge for my daily driver....

The only worry I have is the length of time that will be riding fairly hard. I'm sure I'll be ok. The first rule is RIDE YOUR OWN PACE anyway, so they WILL wait for you!

Not so much. I like riding it, that's all that matters. Jagr doesn't like it though, when we ride together he can't tell if the fan is running on his bike, or if it's just the 2 fiddy!
