  1. hey i have been back!! get off my back! when you coming down here to ride?

As soon as I can. I REALLY want to get the Hon-duh back togetherfirst, but that might not be possible for a while, due to cash flow. It's flowing out faster than in right now, and I can't grab enough to get any parts for the bike. Then again, the 250 does ok on corners, just not on the straights, especially in the wind! 1krrdude has been on me about getting down there to ride as well.

When will you be putting the guns and xbox controller long enough to ride?

  2. Erm no, at a 4 way stop everyone stops and you let the person who was first go... unless you get there at the same time then it's the person to your left...

well that's all according to the drivers manual of course

    :wtf:

I think we all know that.

He was saying that you shouldn't treat it as a 4-way, but as a stop sign at at road that does not stop.

  3. I'm liking how some of the newer lights have "cameras" to detect the vehicles. We have several out here and I have had no problems with triggering them.

From my understandng, these are just "object recognition" devices, and have no way of recording an image of your vehicle. From what I've read, the initial cost is more, but they avoid the need to re-install the wires in the road after a repave for the magnetic trip systems.

  4. you *could* screw it up if you put that stupid Volkswagen G12 coolant in there and had regular ethylene glycol coolant. mixture reportedly turns to jello in the engine... not that you'd go to a VW dealer and pay out the ass for it, lol. i sadly have a car with that stupid stuff in it.

Flush it out and run Global. I've found that the G12, pink Pentosin is very similar to GM's Dexcool, which is GARBAGE!

  5. I prefer Peak brand Gobal coolant. As with the prestone that was mentioned, it's all makes and models safe. I only say that I prefer it ove the Prestone because I'm familiar with it, and haven't used the Prestone. I have used the Peak Global in automotive applications that were "troublesome" with their OE recommended coolant, and it prevented repeat failures of heater cores, water pump and various gasket leaks.

  6. went in today to give them the deposit and i told them to just do the driver airbag and then ill do the pass one later.

Read my previous post about this. It's not going to do a bit of good to fix the one airbag, other than appearance. I'm pretty sure that the system will not work properly with just one bag replaced. It knows that something is not right, and is not sure whether to trust anything else.

If you're not going to do the entire repair, fix the exterior issues first, headlight working, cosmetics if ya want, be aware that you have a safety system that's not operating, and fix the airbags later.

I got 5 on anyone other than jcroz.....

  7. Hail that bigbluebird!:lol:

Now OP, go fix the first post to put the pics below one another, instead of side by side! Just hit enter after each of them.

    :violin:

(Just one of thos things that annoys me! I also have been drinking, but just one drink so far.)

  8. Yep. All stock. Prolly put the PC3 on tomorrow. Waiting on a KN air filter to get here too.

Brian said everybody was running a little weak due to the humidity and low barometric pressure. It ran 128hp 2 years ago.

That's the reason I don't put a whole lot of stock in the actual numbers, as much as the delta from tuning changes being made. There are too many variables to be accounted for, unless the conditions are very tightly controlled, such as baro pressure, temp, humidity, calibration tolerances, etc...

My opinion is that the dyno is much better at measuring differences than anything, which is what is really needed when doing a tune, anyway!

  9. Was this only on at the 11pm newscast? They should run stuff like this more often.

And they showed a guy riding with his helmet strapped to the back fender? Nice :nono:

I don't know if it was just at 11:00 or not. That's the only time I was watching.

I'll have to watch it again to see about the helmet, I was more listening than watching.
