  1. quick Google search turned up this link to a "free for up to 10 users on one domain" mail system for Home Server.

I've got Server 2000/2003/2008 Standard and Enterprise, but no Home server. Sorry.

Hmmm... Nice find! I'll have to try that one out!

I have a Server 2003 box doing little more than email now. It's a P3-500, I think. PAINFULLY slow when doing anything else, but does basic pop email just fine.

  2. I bought this to take care of the snow removal at the shop.

Not a blower, but it ought to move a lot of snow

    picture.php?albumid=191&pictureid=9337

I think that's the first Ford skid loader I've ever seen! They're awesome for snow removal!

  3. What are they gong for on fleabay?

I use a Linksys WGA54G (actually on one of my TiVo's right now) or I also have a Netgear Wireless print server with 4 port ethernet bridge, WPSG606, that I use for the 360, a TiVo, and my printer all at once. I think either one can be has pretty cheap on Ebay. I'm not sure those are the exact model numbers, and they're both older products, but work REALLY well.

  4. Download the latest of XP you can find and PM me

I will have a legit XP key for you

Since I am not only a OSU Student, I'm also a CSE major which gives me a ton of Microsoft Software/OS' for free including XP,Vista, and 7

Also if you're having trouble downloading it and burning it to cd or dvd let me know and I can burn one for you.

I'm betting the same can't be had for windows home server.... I really like Home Server, and need to get a *cough* good */cough* copy of it on my box. I use it for my web server, and it's intended backup and media sharing. It's also great for remote access! I just need to get pop email running on it without buying a quirky add-on, and I'd be golden!

  5. I have up for sale a Samsung Instinct. The original, not the s30, or HD. I get my upgrade credit every year now, since I have 3 lines, and a big bill.

Absolutely nothing wrong with it functionally, and just a couple minor scrapes on it hindering the physical condition. I just upgraded yesterday, and would like to recoup a few dollars of what I spent!

I see that they're going for around $125-ish on Ebay, and that's where this will be headed if nobody here wants it. Includes all the origianl accesories, except MAYBE the headset (unless I can find it!) and I MAY even have the original box! It came with 2 batteries, data cable, wall charger, case (which is pretty decent for a coming with the phone!) and a 2GB memory card with adapter to read on a regular SD card reader.

For the Ohio-Rider's group, I was thinking around $100. If I don't get any interest in a few days it's going off to ebay, or maybe the dreaded stalker-ville called craigslist....

  6. I know many people who have. I have seen how they work. They get a shipment of 50+ bikes that they dont even look at first. They come in a massive truck and once unloades they look to see what they have. They have 2 giant warehouses in the back and one is full of bikes the other is full of bike parts. They just swap parts on good bikes and re-titlte them. On some of the ones that are not bad(like the r6)they just sell as is making a killing! They dont really do anything other than start the bike and ride it up the little road from their storage bldg to the showroom. Jason(the owner)is doing really really well for himself thats for sure! I would love to be set free in the warehouse with all the bikes to build a race bike. I have seen ohlins and other bad ass parts on some of the bikes he brings in. I have bought a dirt bike from there on the CHEAP and it was like new for 1/3 the cost. IF YOU KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR U WILL BE FINE,but u will never know the motors story till u ride it.

Wow! Sounds like a cool deal to be on the inside of!

  7. I think your car's virus jumped into my van.... it won't start and I get a message that my starter is disabled and the engine power is reduced.... FML....

I think Dave THREW the virus to your van. :nono: now you know how much he REALLY likes you!

Newer Chevy van? Sounds like a throttle body code is in it. Is the battery low? Details man, we can fix it over the inna-netz...

  8. guess that would depend on what they are...... I have done several harleys where the emblems that were originally on the tank were discontinued. You can get pretty close to what was on there................

It's the Interceptor in my pics. I'll be doing the main paint work, I just have next to ZERO artistic talent!

  9. They're pretty warm in the winter; I was able to go about 50 miles at highway speeds at 27°F before I started feeling cold. They're warm in the summer...can get a little too warm in the toes if you're riding through very humid stuff but the inside dries pretty quickly.

Thanks, I'm gonna just have to get out and look at some!

  10. Since the airbrush questions are in this thread, how tough would it be for one of these guys to airbrush the original markings back onto my Interceptor? The decals are not out there in OE form, and not cheap, or not what I need in the aftermarket....

  11. thats why i am wondering if they did the plugs first and then this. Ours is a 2 step process, 1 clean the throttle body with carb and choke cleaner and 2 is a carbon blaster sprayed into the vacuum line on the intake and it tears plugs up.

For the throttle body service, I remove the throttle body, if it's reasonable to do in the maount of time the service pays, if not, I'll put a rag inside to catch as much of the carb cleaner as I can, and clean it (as sparingly as I can be on the cleaner) then pull out the rag. I can get most just as well without removing them, with the right brushes, and soaking with cleaner.

Anyway, Here's to hoping they got all the gremlins out of it, and you can continue to enjoy your car!

  12. If I went to a shop (not likely) and they told me they were going to clean my intake system with carbon cleaner I'd turn around and walk out the door.

It's a valid, and sometimes important service. We don't do an intake system cleaning though, just a throttle body cleaning, or EGR passage cleaning (if they're clogged or known for clogging on an application).

As I said earlier, I've seen some applications that NEED the throttle body cleaned once in a while. Most newer applications don't need it.

  13. Wonderful boots! Flying Brick and I both have matching pairs. Truly waterproof for all day in the rain adventures and great snow boots too...LOL. Definitely worth the money.

Warm in the winter? Warm in the summer?
