So I totally would if I was near Cbus and it was my bike LOL. Also, his bike isn't ready, he's freaking out, been working on the bike for some 3 years or something and just hasn't finished it. But he was freaking out because he didn't want to have to mess with it once it was finished. The pretty versus handmade... I would HOPE the people at the inspection wouldn't question it... anyone with a quarter of a brain would look at the bike, in primer/bare metal, that looks NOTHING like ANY piece is brand new and go "holy crap, nice work, here's your vin sticker" I'll relay the information to him, post some pics of your bike... would like to see the custom work (and what you took to inspection), he'll appreciate it for sure.

I was looking at the VMax online yesterday... one of the features is "shortened intake at high rpm" which sounds a lot like VTec in Hondas (I'm not very mechanically inclined so pardon the ignorance).... Maybe you were in too high a gear (although 145 is pretty fast to be in anything but top gear lol)!
