  1. http://www2.nbc4i.com/news/2012/sep/07/troopers-announce-athens-county-ovi-checkpoint-fri-ar-1163826/ As I've stated before, if you get caught: A) you're a jackass for driving drunk and B) you were warned, and thus a jackass for not heeding the warning.
  2. how do you mistake a raging, storm-filled creek for a puddle in a parking lot? no offense intended (well, some), but this kid appears to be a few fries short of a happy meal. glad he's OK, though.
  3. be a good, supportive boyfriend: buy and mount a bookholder for her:
  4. 4.5/5 stars from 13k reviews; 1 million+ downloads from Google's store. Seems ok to me, but I've not actually tried it.
  5. Click here to see if your iDevice is among the 12+ million being watched by the Federales.
  6. ^^^ it was awful..awful, I tell ya. In (Apple) related news, coming soon is the "geo fence" or "geo zone", soon to be known as "iCan'tUseMyiPhoneOrItsCamera" if Apple or the government says I can't...
  7. all of my phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, servers, thumb drives, and external drives were lost in a horrible smelting accident. none of my data are belong to the government. i still has my abacus.
  8. tl:dr glad i use unbreakable Android... "...we're from the government, and we're here to help..."
  9. I had Rhino in the truck from 2003 until 2010 and it physically held up fine. Faded a bit, but who gives a phuck, it's a truck... When the bed was replaced due to getting rear-ended I specified Rhino, received LineX instead, and didn't feel like arguing. In the 20~ish months of having LineX it appears as though it's going to hold up fine, too. Both finishes were exposed to tractor ramps being tossed in, gas spillage, general 'not caring what happens', both held up just fine. LineX is more slippery feeling than Rhino; stuff slides around a bit more which I don't like. The Rhino was just slippery enough that you could move things around without super-exerting yourself, but tacky enough that stuff stayed put. If I had it to do again, I'd choose Rhino. I'd probably be ignored again, but that's what I would choose.
  10. 1) fix it, you know it's illegal 2) fight the ticket. the section cited does not apply. Proper section, for reference, is 4501-41-03 (A)(3) 3) maybe get a curtain to hang behind the front seats when you're parked to obscure what's in the back. Edit **typing while :superporter: was typing edit #2: law referenced above is authorized by, and amplifies the section cited on your ticket. Sorry, no fighting allowed...
  11. Jersey Shore was cancelled yesterday.
  12. yes, very glad you're OK!
  13. i'll post up the OSU Hockey schedule if anyone's interested... ...at least one team in Columbus has players that put forth 100% effort every shift. edit: notwithstanding Cheech's team, of course...
  14. +imaginary peanut butter rep to Dr. Todd for his insight/warnings.
  15. any I might have (allegedly) owned were (allegedly) lost in a tragic smelting accident... ...however, if I were to have any carry weapons, they'd look like this: Springfield XD-9 Service 4", Crimson Trace laser grip, carried in a Crossbreed Supertuck: Ruger LCR .357, carried in either a pocket holster or a Bianchi iwb: Springfield XDs .45 and Smith & Wesson M&P Shield in 9mm, to be (allegedly) carried once broken in and I'm satisfied with them, function-wise:
