  5. i thought this was about fun.. and riding.
  6. i still stand by my thoughts that if you are in full control of your motorcycle and paying full attention to your surroundings, riding within the legal speed limit, blah blah you should never "have" to lay a motorcycle down.
  7. my msf instructor said that " if you are in control of your motorcycle, you should never have to "intentionally" lay your motorcycle down"
  8. when I used one with my cbr, it made it easier to lube the chain, pop it in neutral and lube away. It made it easier to work on, and i used it because i could not get a hold of the European models center stand. The triumph has a center stand and I love it.

  10. Well, Just got home from the ride today. Granda080 an I rode to Iron pony. We both bought a river road baclava, and let me tell you what. That was the best 5.49 cents I have ever spent on something to keep me warm! we then attempted to get to hocking. We hopped on 270, and Never hit 33. Lil mix up, no biggy. We rode to zanesville, and go on 40, and started back home. did about 45 miles on 40 and then hopped back on 70 and stopped at mcdonalds in hillard, as we were getting back on the highway some guy with a blue yamaha fj hopped on and rode probably 30 miles with us, he came up waved and on his way he went. and then bombed it the rest of the rest of the way home for a grand total of 299.5 miles.
  11. nope. I just bought to have an extra quart. I thought it would be nice to have in my bag when if i was out on a big ride, and used alittle.
  12. thats why i opted to hold out on the leaf ride. I dont mind the cold but its 35 right now.
  13. im supposed to meet up with granada08 at 1030. You guys wanna meet up? We talked about going to iron pony and then maybe over into the hocking hills area.
  14. joes cycle shop sells the 15w50 for 59 bucks a gallon. thats what triumph recommends be ran. What got me started on all of this was, was I went to joes today and tried to buy a single quart. I thought it would be nice to have an extra quart incase i ever needed to top off, on a long trip or somthing. They informed me that a quart of the 15w50 does not exist as they are only allowed to import by the gallon. So I bought the oil on the left at auto zone. for 9 dollars a quart.
  15. i ran the stuff on the right for this oil change, but im going to switch to the left i think.
