They will always ticket a single vehicle with failure to maintain control unless you can prove there was another car. Video or witness would do that. Now, you can't get a ticket handed out to another driver based upon video or witness unless you can prove the identity of the driver... Been riding for 7 years. Never had anyone intnetionally try to hit me. Regularly have to get out of the way of oblivious morons, but nobody who did it intentionally. Worst I had was a lady in an Excursion who didn't realize that her lane didn't exist after the intersection so she wound up on the shoulder. We were side by side and looking at each other about 4' apart and she just came on over. Slowed down and let her through. She didn't want to talk about it at the next light, apparently.

Looking for a good home for my Starbucks. The cafeteria was about to close and they were goign to pour the rest down the sink so I rescued it. But now I don' thave the time to drink the starbucks in the way it deserved. It's sitting on my desk here all in its waxed carboard cage, yearning to romp around a nice big stomach. I'm not in it for the money, but I did invest $1.95 in this, so I'm looking to get at least a buck back. I know a guy who lost a leg in an accident at 5mph. If you r leg is trapped under a heavy sliding bike then you're gonna get hurt regardless of speed. It's just a matter of if your leg is broken or minced.

The police report lists the accident as being caused by the rider failing to make a right-hand turn. Unsafe speed is listed as a contributing factor. The report does not mention the cause of death (traume, asphyxia etc) however it goes on to state that "unit 1" struck two trees. RIP
