She's the female equivalent to Obama, in my right-leaning opinion.

I guess that guy learned his lesson. Don't poke the bear. DON'T POKE THE BEAR!

I hate to admit it, but Harley makes a nice product (in it's category) at a fair price for being American-made. Do I want one? Hell no. I want something that goes and handles. Most of us under 40 want performance, and Harley just doesn't offer it. Add to that the gay pirate "image" and smug superior attitude, and my hell no upgrades to a fuck no.

I had the same thought at first

Very well made video. That is one seriously pissed-off chain saw!

The dragon reference is way overstated. The last guy I went with on 555 who had ridden the real dragon many times said it was more challenging in some ways, due to the unpredictability. You people who are complaining about the blind turns making it less fun are missing the point. That's EXACTLY why it's a challenging road... you never know what is coming next. There are many times you come up over a rise expecting the road to continue straight, only to have it go 90 degrees right or left. The gravel just adds to the fun. It's a hardcore ride that requires concentration- especially the lower half from 7 to 78. Just south of 78 is the best stretch. If you're looking for perfectly banked corners where you have plenty of foresight to position yourself perfectly into the turn, 555 is NOT the road for you. My friend's wife who followed us through 555 on her FZ6 was completely rattled when we stopped at 555 and 78 to take the pic in my av. Her comments were "the guy that designed this road has one brother with a tow truck and another with a mortuary".

It's a fun road. Every time I ride it the bike gets loose at some point. Never seen a cop on it.

How many of you rode to work today?

With a jet kit and exhaust, that is one of very few bikes that will pick up 15-20% more horsepower. The modified final drive will get you more mpg. -

You won't catch me arguing with you on that... it is a nice bike. One of the best bangs for the buck out there. Do you have the modified final drive on yours? -

I see my retirement years being more Goldwing oriented. Some of the sport tourers are pretty comfy too, so no reason to give up performance for age. You might be surprised to find out how many guys over 50 ride Hayabusas. They are out there. -

Seriously... cheap fun. I'm not a cruiser guy, but I've ridden a friend's and they are a lot of bike for the money (you can pick them up cheap used). If I was to buy a bike for $18K, it would be a Ducati or BMW, but if I ever (God, help me) get the urge to ride a cruiser, I would pick one of these up for a third bike. -

Scruit... like your choice in bikes. Those are fun little cruisers that have a lot of customizing options. -
So, did he lose the arms trying to perfect his technique?

Wouldn't you really rather ride a harley?

Somebody REALLY needs to do a side-by-side video of the paint shaker above and the motor on one of the rubber mounted models. The shaking isn't so different, really. -

My rain gear keeps me dry, so no issue there. I also work in an office. I'm with you on the tornado thing. I've had to hang off the bike to keep it going straight while riding through hail before... first and only time I stopped under a bridge and waited it out. -

Yeah, but you're on 3/4 of a cage with the 'wing, lol. Yesterday and today I was the only bike in the parking lot. Usually there are at least 2 of us, and often up to 10. I don't know about you, but I really enjoyed my ride in today, even if it was drizzling and the roads were wet. A lot of these guys don't know what they're missing! -
The real question begging to be answered is, wtf is up with that windshield? Holy hell!

I've owned about 5 GMs in the last 10 years, including 2 trucks. Every one has been a money pit after 30-60 thousand miles. My S-10 made it to 86,000 before I parked it. The full size needs a new rear end, transmission, wheel bearings, brakes, and a bunch of other stuff, so it is currently a driveway ornament at 105000. We bought a Toyota this time. Even with the instant automatic acceleration feature, it has been dead reliable for 50K miles and runs and feels just like the day we bought it. It all depends on what you want. Do you want a vehicle you love and love to work on, or do you want something that is boring and appliance-like and gets you there every time. I'm sick of working on cars.

I was thinking the same thing, but I wouldn't want to insult anyone who is retarded by assosciating them with a Harley rider. Retarded by choice is so much worse.

I think we all need to start emailing the owner of ohioriders.com the following... "I've heard that you are trying to sell this domain for $11,000. LBTS GLWS." I don't like the dash either, but the .net always confuses people. You are guaranteed to increase traffic to numbnut's version, thereby increasing his perception of it's worth.

Not really sure yet... haven't even looked. I just don't feel like doing it right now. I figure I will get to it before the snow flies. -

I don't blame you... I won't ride my Speedy in the rain either (but I have by accident). Right now I'm in a similar situation to V-star guy... my car blew a brake line and I haven't had a chance to fix it. I wish I would have before I had surgery, because the motorcycle isn't exactly a smooth ride, and I don't feel much like crawling under the car right now. -
That kit is impressive. As RSVDon said, there is a lot of work in that kit. I want one for my speed triple! 160whp would be just about right.
