  1. If Honda had a CBR750RR, I would have to have one in my garage.
  2. There are a lot of bike guys who love the stuff, couldnt count 'em all and their bikes havent blown up. I'm really on the fence. As an engineer geek foole, I would like to see some data or an apples to apples test with a top motorcycle oil to push me off the fence. Maybe that's just too much to ask. Still it's designed as diesel engine oil and putting it in a motorcycle kinda gives me a wedgie..
  3. I dont think I would do it on a new bike, its still in break-in mode.
  4. The only way for sure to know if your oil is ok or not is to get it tested. Blackstone Labs does that kind of work. I've seen tests at 4k were they said the oil needs to be changed now, and 8k where they said they oil could go for another couple thousand. It comes down to your riding style how it affects the oil you use. I havent done the test but I would like to take a data point and see if I can go a bit farther or even find out I'm better where I'm at now. (I go 3 to 4k)
  5. Jeez, that sweeper didnt look that difficult. Foole -- Squid powered.
  6. I admit I'm cheap so I have avoided going to a smartphone. I saw an ad for Walmart smartphone service for $45 for unlimited. That's a good discount over others. What's the good, the bad and the ugly. School me.
  7. Somehow, this just fits this forum. I kinda LMAO... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjENG1oueEA&feature=player_embedded

-- Not sure of what all I will be doing but my understanding is that I will be more a do it all project engineer and keep all the shit moving and coordinated to get it ready for production. I will report to the Admin side. I am looking forward to it! -- I'm a former Delphi engineer guy and used Stillwater for testing fixtures. Cant remember the names of people I worked with.

Got the job with F.tech R & D. My understanding is they develop the product for F & P to manufacture.
  11. Some terms I havent heard --- Torrenting? Seeding? Whats that?
  12. Get a VFR and stick a handle bar kit on it. This one was DIY.
  13. You got a lot commiserating going on - how 'bout break it down into - what kinda rider are you? Sport? Sporty? Sport/tour, Street only, or some track? Is it going to be one bike? Or some day get another? An idea - most bikes that I have bought, I have had an inkling that I would like it and finagled a test ride. Usually if I was right, the test ride would have me walking away thinking - I must find and buy one of these now! Good luck
  14. - Lean toward bad battery like everyone else. -- You could pull it, give it an overnite charge, then take to autozone or simular for load test. That will say yes/no once and for all. - Once you get the battery sorted, you should do the basic charging system checks.

Assume your talking Troy? -- I have been interviewing for a spot at their sister company, F.tech R&D. Seems like they have a large backlog of work coming in. Main customers - Honda, Toytota, and GM. -- Wouldnt mind some skinny on both myself.
  18. I like the all black version except for the huge mirrors.
