  1. One's chance of winning is exactly zero, unless you have a ticket... I look at it as a ticket to dream about what I'd do with the cash if I were to win...
  2. For dried bug goo on the faceshield, I've always just left a wet paper towel lay spread across for about 5 minutes. The splats reconstitute, then I wipe them off with the same paper towel and dry with another...Have never had the need for a cleaner.

    Lemon-scent Pledge.
  4. I'm a fan of the handrails for leverage/traction for those fiber-deficient moments.
  5. ....Dary Wait' date=' what? [i']Oh...the "R" word.

    Ah Spring!

Yup, planning on riding the T out to the shooting range tomorrow...
  7. No...Still too busy listening to Pac-Man.
  8. Saw them at the same place a few years ago (was Promowest Pavilion then). They played two sets, the second being the Sailing the Seas of Cheese album in it's entirety. Have seen them a few times--All awesome shows.
  9. Rolled up to an intersection this noon, yielding to a box truck on the cross street with the right-of-way; Crotchety-looking old guy in the truck waved me to go across as he approached the intersection as if he was going to slow down and let me cross...'cept he didn't.
  10. Dammit! That's not the milkshake I came to the yard for...
  11. And here I was thinking Aztec...That looks a lot like Nahuatl (the language), Tepiltzin.
  12. http://www.midohio.com/School/Courses/Motorcycles/Performance-Track-Riding What he said^^
  13. ...Seems to fit. I normally hang out on the fringe of the crowd…quiet, watching, listening, always thinking, and by-and-large opportunistic with regard to a joke or a point. I am liked by few and generally considered a nuisance. Also a nickname given me by my relatives ("Masleca"), as my mind is always working the angles to make a joke, a point, or to generally catch someone off.
  14. Found this sitting in the back of the safe. Prolly been about 12 years since I last fired it. Just haven't been into black powder for a while... Connecticut Valley Arms (CVA) .50 cal, muzzle loading, Side lock, percussion cap...Ye olde fkool tactical. (ca.1995). Rifled, octagon barrel, etc... If anyone is interested, I am thinking $120 with all the accoutrements. I also have a bag/horn that'll go with it. Good start-up for someone looking for a decent hunter, or just something with big booms and a lot of smoke!
  15. That's the origin of the (old) trademark glasses...
  16. Young'n, then...I think anyone I knew from Warsh High would've been out of there by the early '90's..
  17. My condolences . Wash High or Trinity? I did some time at McGuffey during my formative years...

  19. Nice. I've got a 'Calico Jack' waiting on the stamp.
  20. That's why we refuse to keep them around. That, and they carry diseases.
  21. My Wife will be doing the 24-day challenge starting 3/1-ish...I'll not be doing the challenge-proper, but will be mostly compliant to support her (actually doesn't affect my normal diet much, just less ice-cream...). Don't think she'll want me posting her progress though. She became a distributor for the discount, as we've been using the meal replacement and Spark with and around our training schedule.
