It will be drag racing focused since that's kind of what I do, but I want to hear what some of you would want to hear from a weekly pod cast. The official Cobra Jet Reunion was going on this weekend at the NMCA race while I was there. I had to pull triple duty running my car, shooting event photos, and grabbing assets for stories like this. Steve Turner is an amazing writer and it's an honor for my pictures to be used in something he created. Growing up my family raced with Mark Pawuk when he started at Thompson. It was kind of a head trip to have an assignment that involved him for sure. The NMCA is going to be at Norwalk this weekend. They are going to have the 50th Cobra Jet Reunion there and right now there are over 80 cars set to race plus there will be some really cool displays. Racing wise they will have classes for everyone including Open Comp, Bracket, and True Street. If I've learned anything in the tech articles that I've done is that heat is a huge killer of transmissions for sure. I would get some high-quality fluid in there to help along with a quality transmission cooler. As far as fluid goes look at the high end stuff like Royal Purple, HPL, or Driven. All of those are designed to deal with the issues heat can cause.
