  1. For the stock supercharger, the most anyone has seen without nitrous is sub-300. A small shot will get you over that. The TVS guys regularly see over 300, easily, with some of the more 'built' motors seeing in upwards of 400. One guy has the record with the TVS at 421whp. Then he saw a lot of knock and blew a rod. He was on 10.5:1 pistons, all bolt-ons and a ported head, but only the exhaust side. He was the first on the TVS to reach that point, so I'm sure with many more people getting the TVS and trial/error, the secrets will be out on how to safely do it.

The turbo conversion guys... Well, one guy I know on the forums has a turbo swapped stock internal motor that made 440whp 385wtq. Stock motor! He has since torn it down to build it with pistons, hg, p&p head... etc. But again.. trial/error. I have a lot of respect for him and his car, but I just prefer to stay supercharged.

DAMN! I din't know there was that much out there for em. I knew they were peppy but 400+ WHP is very respectable.

  2. how about grooming the damn thing  fuck that. boxers are easy to care for in that department.

besides, any dog of substantial size ~ 75lbs or more is about all you need when an intruder comes to challenge them. In reality there's no denying their ability to defend and protect. in my case, they will do exactly what a police dog does, distract the bad guy and give me time to pump a few shots in to them  I don't need them to eat them afterwards :)

 get ride of the evidence?

  3. I have nothing against turbos, I just prefer to stay supercharged. The TVS is light years ahead of the stock Eaton M62 in terms of efficiency and will take the motor much further. Could I make more power with a turbo? Of course. But my goal is 400whp, and even that is too much for a FWD compact car.

The 250 whp was on a very conservative tune, about 10 months ago, with stock exhaust. I was running a richer 11.4-5 afr and only about 17-18 deg timing. The tune that was on there also did not have accurate MAF/MAP settings. I could lean it up a bit and safely push over 20 deg timing and throw in the right airflow tables and see a good gain. A buddy of mine in PA with the same mods made 275 whp. Let's just say I'm talking to him...

I have a lot more into the car since then and I also have my own tuning software so I doubt that the 250whp estimate is still accurate.

Got ya. Well 400WHP would definatly be pretty bad ass for a car like that. The one I drove was scarry enough (shakey and lound). What's the most anyone has gotten out of those cars anyway? I though low 300's was high for them.

  4. This board is only for people that enjoy anal sex. There is a $400 entry fee and required STD testing for all new members. If this interests you please let me know and I will send you our "How To Enjoy Anal" motivational video and a free bottle of ultra slippery anal lubricant. The lubricant comes in cherry or strawberry (please indicate your preference in your response or you will be sent cherry). If an underground community of gay men that hide behind fast cars is for you then definitely let me know! We would be more than happy to help you with your anal pleasures.

    Toodles!

Why is this the first time I'm hearing about this!? I'll take a the cherry lube please and when is the next "Car Show"?

  5. Why not go turbo if you're going to put a new S/C on it? Those little things can make decent power for what they are and I hear the factory IC is pretty damn good too. I've driven one that put out about the same amount of power, it was fun to drive, but not for me. 250 WHP though with "lots" of mods seems kind of low. I've seen them make about 250- 265 with an intake, tune, injectors, no cat and smaller S/C pulley at around 15-20 psi. I guess it depends on what you think is a lot...Either way welcome.
  6. Damn, the pain is still that bad huh!? I have a hard time checking back in on this thread becuase nothing I type is going to make it any better. Hang in there though and as easy as it is to say vs. do, make sure you work you ass off in P.T. The harder you push yourself there the better you'll be in the long run. G/L with everything!
  7. Slow smoked (at home) 1.5 inch thick prime NY Strip, tossed on a 500 degree grill for 90 seconds on each side to a perfect medium rare. Accompanied by oiled, seasoned, and grilled Portobello mushroom caps, water soaked sweet corn in husk, grilled and shucked, slathered in butter, and seasoned with sea salt!

    I think I just came.........

When I lived in MA, my friends and I had a cookout competition we started. :) Everyone is allowed up to 3lbs of steak tips. They could be prepared in any way, including cooking method. But once they were cooked, they could only be presented as steak on plate. Everyone sampled the tips and a winner for the night was declared.

The winner got to take the "Golden Porkchop" until the next Tip-Night. It was a porkchop chew-toy on a chain that was spraypainted gold and defaced with a BeDazzler. hehe.

My best entry was Wasabiyaki tips. Mix 1 bottle of Soy-Vey Wasabiyaki with 2/3 a small jar of wasabi powder per 1.5lbs of tips. Marinade for 24 hours, then grill slightly too-hot to ensure a good carmelized coating. Finally, hit with ground wasabi and serve.

The "cheater" sauce was the red chinese spare rib sauce. The worst was a caesar salad dressing marinade. :p But some notable ones were Pizza-Tips, Chipotle, and other great marinades. The competition really brought out some good, though guarded, recipes. One recipe that was more of an Urban Legend since noone seemed to get the mix right, was a Coke and Orange Juice marinade.

    Now I'm hungry... And I don't have a grill. :(

These 2 sound good! The second a little spicy, but still! (licking my lips)

I'll grill anything. I like trying new things on burgers for when I have cookouts. The most popular so far are the “everything burgers”. I'll take all the normal toppings mushrooms, onions, tomato, cheese and whatever else you’re in the mood for and throw them in the food processer until they’re in real fine pieces then just mix it in with the meat and grill! Nothing too crazy, but super good! When it’s just me and the G/F it’s steak or fish.

    grilled anything is the shiznit...

    Gas or charcoal?

I have both just in case. :D

  8. Okay, so it's not quite summer yet, but yesterday after taking care of the yard and washing off the car it sure felt like it. I also cleaned off the grill which leads to my question...

What's your favorite recipe or food to cook on the grill?

  9. I just spent all day yesterday doing yard work. I can't say that I like doing the work while I'm doing it, but when it's done I feel really good/ proud to have a nice looking yard.

While we're on the topic of yard work what’s the best product to use to keep shit from growing? I have all sorts of weird vines and grass growing around the edge of my deck and I just want it to DIE!!!

  10. fuck you
