5th gen headlights seem pretty tough to find used unless you luck into it. In addition to VFRWorld, check VFRD. What's wrong with the current light?

They're going to produce these now? I thought this was restored. I think they built them like that to get around the car regs and licensing in England in the 30s.

Not sure how much help this would really be; seems like there's always someone willing to 'help' them by lending them a car. Wasn't that idiot who killed the 3 kids from Hiram driving his girlfriends car? I remember something like OVI #13 for him.

If the turnsignals got broken from drops, the tabs that hold them into position in the fairing might be broken off as well. Again, not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of and use as a negotiating tool. If nothing else, that would be a good excuse to get a plastic welder . Let us know what happens!

Hard to tell much about condition from those pics. Looks like it was dropped on the left side - mirror missing (~$85) and the clutch lever looks bent. Not a dealbreaker unless the bodywork and tank are messed up too. I can't figure out the turnsignals, are they smoked dumbo signals, or some weird ghetto flat ones? The wheels have been repainted or powdercoated. The high outlet pipe is a plus, unless it's ridiculously loud (you could put in a quieter can if needed). Usually when a high mount comes up for sale it gets snapped up pretty quickly. Plan on replacing the regulator-rectifier and connectors right away unless it's been done recently; probably the biggest weakness of the VFR. Otherwise, they're very durable if taken care of, lots of them with 50-75k on them. The valve check is 16k, mine were still within spec at 32k. Interesting perspective. It looks nice and dry, too! Yeah the MetroParks have been controlled by Nazi treehuggers for years keeping bikes out of the park since they're so noisy and destructive . However, you may not have heard that a new MTB trail is under construction at Royalview (on the pkwy between 130th & 82). Also, there are decent trails in Medina & Wellington.

Can't see the video at work, but going on Scruit's comments the coke in her system by itself could be enough to give her a brain bleed, even without the fall. Either way, Darwin at work...

Anyone here go to MTBR.com? I don't think I've seen one for awhile, but last year every other week there was a big 20pg pissing match thread about the WalMart 29ers. Funny stuff. Only 29er I've ridden to date was an S-Works that retails for I think 7800, at the big MTB festival in Peninsula. Simply incredible coming off my old low end bike. Looks like a nice ride you got, at a good price, BTW!! The real fun will start once the mud dries up and we can actually ride on trails again.

Not sure if you heard, but there's a group up in Cleveland that is hoping to get a 166m velodrome up and running this year. I met a couple of the players thru cyclocross last fall; some other racer types in the know are very confident that it will open on schedule. Maybe drag that thing down & reglue your tires..

CL is uber-suckish, to the point where I've pretty much given up even looking on it. Have you looked at what's on the CAMBA site? Maybe join the forum and put out a WTB ad; there might be some people on there with an unadvertised bike that they'd let go.

I'm thinking stuck cable between the cruise control servo and throttle body, rather than an electrical cause. Stomping on the gas shouldn't disengage the cruise. Sounds like the cruise shut off with the switch, but the throttle was still hung in whatever position it was in until you stomped it, which broke it free.

I know we have some aquarium people on the board. I have a bala shark who has outgrown my tank. We have a 30 gal tank, and we've had this fish for maybe 4 years now. He's about 8-10", and way too big for this tank. Anyone with a big freshwater tank that would be interested? He doesn't look like he'd be good eatin', but my neighbor has offered to go fishing and have a fry. (Last one we had was about 6", jumped out of the tank when my wife was feeding them, and one of the cats grabbed him right away. Kind of a suckish way to die...hey cool I'm free.. oh. snap...)

Sounds like time for an OR fly-in? Reminds me that I really, really need to get that TD endorsement....I almost got into a deal with a Champ last spring, then got too busy at work to do much flying. Also, still love the Pietenpol. Even though I probably need the Corvair to pull my big ass aloft, I just love the look of a Ford powered Piet.
