  1. I was watching the Moto3 race which I DVR'ed over the weekend. This has to be the best racing on that "tour". 60 bikes on the grid, a "lead pack" of 24, and lots of banging and pushing on the track. Going in to turns 3 and 4 wide. Awesome awesome awesome stuff. Crazy passes. KTM teammates pushing each other off the track ("They're good friends off of the track", per the commentators). Great racing.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af-Id_fuXFA
  3. Got my OR decals and one other sticker which I ordered today. All look good, and are what I requested. And he's just down the road, too. Thx Jeff
  4. And yet, you posted it anyhow. If you don't want to pay the cash, thats fine, but this would have been better-sent as a PM. Kind of like this response.
  5. That was from my phone. I was watching the game, and the SF catcher walked over to his dugout to swap out his glove. There was an Asian guy in the front row, just to the left of the SF dugout, with a big fluffy panda hat on. I didn't record it, and couldn't get a screen shot. Shoulda backed up the DVR and snapped a photo. Oh well.
  6. Watching Reds at Giants (its Sat 6/30) and he Is front row, behind the Giants dugout. Fluffy headgear and all. I swear.
  7. How about I change "all" to "most"? Lots of rich Democrats for some reason.
  8. Obama 2009 with Stephanapoulos: "What it’s saying is, is that we’re not going to have other people carrying your burdens for you anymore" Oh, like me having to pay higher fees/ taxes/ surcharges on my phone bills so that the "poor" can have cell phones, internet service, cable TV, etc? Which way does he want it? Save your breath, I know the answer. The "win" today will help Romney. Hugely. All the Obamafans already have free healthcare, they don't care.
  9. Don't they dig you on the Falco?? If not, then, uhm, no. Its not you. Its just that they can't appreciate the bikes. Yeah. Go with that.
  10. I'm always hesitant to buy notably modified vehicles. Inheriting someone else's frustration/ problem.
  11. The battery is just to activate the brakes in case of a disconnect, right? Battery I'm talking about is mounted on the trailer, and it's about the size of a motorcycle battery.
  12. Will they work properly? If connected to the truck...
  13. Destin. Should have no trouble getting a room/ condo for a week or so.
  14. My first ATV was a 2002 Polaris 500 Scrambler, and it was a great machine for me. Became the wifes when I bought something else for myself, then we sold it to a friend who is still using it. No major problems for any of us. Some great things like the auto-locking front end and bulletproof engine (Mitsubishi?? I forget. Something Japanese). Trailblazer must be a different ball of wax. How old are your kids?
  15. Did she just break the screen? Easy fix.
  16. >>Uhm, yep. It is. And I will. Regardless of what I drive, besides the bicycle or a Volt, I'll need gas. Lets see. Do I finance a new 37 mpg subcompact for six years, or put gas in my paid-off '03 Avalanche? Easy choice. Both need fuel. And no, I don't drive the Av for work. I drive my four-banger Camry. Bunch of self-righteous turds. You LIKE paying as much as we are for gas? You wouldn't rather pay $1.89 or $2.25 which is about what we paid the last time that a barrel of oil was this "cheap"? We choose what we drive based on our personal preferences. I didn't start out complaining about the fuel prices, though I did say that my fuel bill makes me nauseous. I drive what I drive because they suit my needs. I pay for the vehicle, insurance, etc. I believe wholeheartedly in capitalism. I'd still rather pay $1.89/ gal.
  17. I won't support GM nor Chrysler/ et al, either.
  18. Wanting some big definition on those grapes, huh?
  19. I didn't spend a lot of time on it, but I think that graph here is illustrative as inflation was inherent in the price/ bbl. It doesn't matter, cuz we've illustrated that we'll pay whatever they charge. I do think that tighter (and more numerous) regulations and the aforementioned lack of refining capacity (despite more vehicles on the road) are key issues. Lower prices = higher demand which the refineries can't keep up with. No matter how much crude they have coming in the front door, they are at capacity. The amount I pay monthly for fuel makes me nauseous. No, I'm not buying a Prius.
  20. I heard on the radio this morning that the barrel price is about $86/ bbl. Seemed to me that the last time it was there, the gasoline prices were quite a bit lower. Seems that gas should be much closer to $2/ gallon. (Link and image are the same). http://cache.jalopnik.com/assets/images/12/2009/02/Price_of_a_Barrel_of_Oil_Versus_Gasoline.jpg
  21. '87? Duct tape. Lots of colors available now.
