  1. I'll add this to this summer's list. Looks fantastic. Wouldn't it be US 191 in AZ?
  2. Tie down point only, got it. I'll order some rings from Amazon. I have ratchets so I'm set there. I think my etrack strip is too far back to allow putting the chock behind it and still close the door, but I'll check and see. I'll get into the trailer this weekend and sort that stuff out. Worst case the chocks will be on top of the strip. Thanks for the pointers!
  3. I checked into them just now, I'll check them out next time I'm in Columbus. Do they serve food or just beer?
  4. I grew up in NO and hated it so I have a built in aversion to any NO bars, so that explains my somewhat scathing view of the place. Take the following for what you think its worth. I can see why people like it but I'm definitely not a fan of loud crowded places. The food is served in obnoxious large portions so it floats well in the eyes of people that like getting a lot, but don't care much about quality. It's like an overgrown crApplebees. I'll go there if I have to, but can think of countless better places to be. That face they stick everywhere pisses me off too. Beer is alright but nothing sensational. It is better than the Rocky River BrewCo which I believe is where the brewmaster at Fatheads got started. The Oompa Loompa mentioned above used to be an RRBC beer. Yes, there is one thing I do like about the place. It keeps the NO townies in NO and out of the places I like to go. If you want to know a little secret, when you've waited an hour for the table promited in 30-40 minutes, try the little sushi place across the lot. Prices are nice so you can try multiple things, and you won't leave feeling sick since you didn't stuff down a bucket of french fries.
  5. I just bought a trailer that has an E-Track strip already laid down. When tying a bike down, do you use a chock in addition to the E-Track or does it work as a standalone retention system? I'm guessing no but need to ask. I have two chocks already so that's no issue, they just need to be bolted down. But I would sell them if they're not necessary.
  6. It's best to read it this way: Tornado in Moore, OK. Town destroyed, there are casualties, unfortuantely some are young children. Send help if you're able. But I don't have flashy graphics or a ticker with useless information scrolling on the bottom of the screen. I don't know where you can get useful news these days since it's all about playing it up while missing the point.
  7. What happened to the forum jumper? I use that all the time and miss it already.
  8. That is suuuuuch a bummer Steve. See what the doctor says and and I hope your recovery is quick.
  9. Ouch! Is that the freebie Interceptor you got last fall? Glad you're ok. But bummer about the bike.
  10. If I have my way I will be there Friday through at least Saturday, will try for race school, and maybe even race Sunday. The 31st is my last day of work so I hope like hell my boss doesn't go all douchy on us and try to keep us here any longer than we need to Friday. Also trying like hell to get a truck so I can buy this trailer I have money down on before then.
  11. After doing a little more looking, are there any cameras on the market that do not recored in .mov format? I fucking hate quicktime. It appears the Drift does this, and I assume the GoPro does too. Not positive about the Countour yet.
  12. Put them on photobucket or imgur, then post the links.
  13. I can vouch for this. I was $3 short at the Garfield Hts. BMV and the woman at the desk actually floated me the cash so I wouldn't have to make a return trip. I came back the next day anyway and gave her a $5. Most of these people are jaded and ignorant, but if you get someone that hasn't been there forever, and you smile a bit you'll usually come out just fine.
  14. Are you looking for something that will be worn over other regular pants that can be easily removed? I hear you on the chaps. Too much uncovered, and they never have knee or hip armor. Both are too important to leave unarmored in my eyes.
  15. Men's Nitro cordura jacket, size M. Black with blue trim. Minimal use, I think I only wore this a few times. After a while I found the arms to be too tight (I'm really a size L). It's better for colder weather riding. Has reflective piping on shoulders and back. I think it's waterproof, but can't remember for sure. I'm in Fairview Park (near west side of Cleveland) right near I-90 and I-71. I will also be attending many Motoseries trackdays and would be happy to bring this along. Asking $10. I would also accept a 6-pack of Molson or better.
  16. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009CN8VRU/ I'd like the +2 but I'm not sure I want to spend double for the GPS stuff. Actually the only reason I'd really go for it is the removable battery. I'd hate to lose the camera because the battery takes a shit. Still, I can buy two Roams for the price of one +2. I'll have to think about that.
  17. I'm going to order a Contour Roam camera for trackdays, but have no idea if it includes a mount. Even if it does, is it any good? I'd like to stick a camera on my bike so I can see the gauges and forward of the bike. Should I get one of the suction cup mounts and stick it on the tank?
  18. Congrats on the transfer and good luck!
  19. I remember seeing dead ones on the bike trails back in 97 but never saw the sky get darkened like they said it would with the swarm. I like the noises they make too. Makes it feel like summer when they're buzzing.
