  1. Thanks for the helmet Mike. Wasn't planning on replacing my current helmet until next year but I fully expect to ruin my old helmet at OMRL this year. It's going to have a good sendoff, I'm thinking viking funeral.
  2. Not to add to things but if anyone is still looking for accommodations.... this place next door to the Townsend Gateway Inn has houses for rent at $200/night that supposedly sleep up to 16 people. http://talleyhoinn.com/the-inn.html I looked into booking at the Gateway Inn and it seems that every room is booked. I snozed I lozed, yeah yeah, sadly I didn't know the wedding plans until after the first of the year and by that time Gateway was booked solid. That said, I am looking at going down a bit early. I *MIGHT* do the Mid-O track day the Monday (18th) of that week but if I don't I might head down to Townsend instead. May be looking for a roommate to keep costs down. This place also has 2 bed, fridge and microwave rooms for $89/night and single small rooms for $69/night. Very reasonable and has good reviews.
  3. Just finished watching race 1, hell of a final lap. can't wait to see the rest of the season if it's more of this.
  4. @Casper are you planning on making this a thing for every GP race?
  5. Ok, I'll get back to you later this evening. I need to make sure the sizing is the same between the old and new model Star.
  6. Yeah that's the motivating factor. I would use my old (current) helmet with 1 year left on it for OMRL and use the new Bell for street/big boy track.
  7. I'm teetering on the edge, Mike. Are the helmets '16 or '17 manufacture year?
  8. Removed all the useless stickers from the race bike, kept the ones that mattered, with slight alterations.
  9. Yeah family stuff popped up.

  11. Really the only thing setting the electric karts apart from one another in performance is how sticky the tires are on each kart.
  12. The rest of the day was fine. I even made a nemesis.
  13. Wish I could do Pitt in April but I'll be slaving away in Minneapolis that week.
  14. Depends on how the day turns out, had planned on working on/testing the XR sunday.
  15. Yeah you didn't get any sort of credit. Seems they don't give a shit about their business. Electric karts from now on.
  16. Passing in corners is fun... This track looks fun...

Welcome. If you like twisties, you've found the right forum.
  18. down 11lbs since last Monday. Only a few more to go until I'm back at my pre-thanksgiving point. 40 more to go until I'm at my for-now target.
  19. If the stars align I may be interested... Big if though.
  20. Hopefully they resolve things, I want to support fun places but if they choose to be shitty over petty things then I'll happily watch their business come crashing down.
  21. Ordered a new rear spring for the XR100 + the coil compressor tool needed for the task.
  22. judging from the seat proximity to the top of the cylinder head, my guess is this bike was designed specifically as a vibrator for men.
