  2. Ray Ray's is the best brisket I have had, even counting numerous BBW joints in GA/TX/TN/LA/SC/NC/etc. There was this tiny shitty shack down in KY near the Lexington horse museum that had some really good brisket too though. **The KY place is called Red State BBQ
  3. That's a stupid mindset. 10 billable hours is 10 billable hours, no matter if it's over the course of a month or a day. I always imagined parts availability was the holdup, at least for my Triumph sitting in the shop for a month for a routine service interval. Apparently gaskets and air intake boots are really really hard to find in the USA.

    Scumbag Harley

Harley should just stop making new bikes and go into the used is new again business model. Buy back used old bikes, spend a couple hours refurbishing them, then resell at a "factory refurbished" markup with a warranty. Not like a 30 year old Harley breaks down any more often than a brand new one.
  5. Id guess it's some kind of gas/electric hybrid to hit those claimed numbers. Or it's just a flat out Putin chest-beating lie. Which is more likely.
  6. One thing about bringing 2 bikes this year, I can spread the tire wear between them
  7. Ew, you put your Vee on the street? Should have that checked out...
  8. god damn $500 tire change? I'd be running brick hard car tires both front and back if labor alone was $500

    sounds pretty american to me
  10. Guess I won't be seeing much of you guys then.
  11. Probably a dealer that pays some $$ to the site and he doesn't want to badmouth them publicly. Ride1 in Hilliard said they don't do test rides unless you've signed paperwork and handed over your downpayment (aka, already bought the bike). Gave me some BS about hours of labor to prep the bike when in actuality they just need to attach the battery... It seems to be fairly common that dealers don't allow test rides, at least the ones I've called/talked to regarding the FZ/MT-10.
  12. My knees hate me on longer rides. I live on Aleve and move around on the seat a lot. Also take a short break every hour or so and walk around for a few minutes.
  13. This bike is a unicycle. I've seen it.
  14. May be in for Sunday. Dunno if races will happen tomorrow to be honest, with the forecast looking the way it does. They won't run in lightning.
  15. A 250 would be fun in tight twisties, less fun on longer highway/interstate rides I'd guess.
