Has sills come back to reality? last time I was bringing in my own tires, wheels off... they wanted something like $50 apiece.

so sills is charging $20 a tire now ? That seems like a change from what they mentioned before.

i actually called two NC notaries myself... both denied doing anything unless both a buyer and seller was present did lots of googling, found nothing that prohibits it, and I know it isn't prohibited.... but apparently no willing stampers. stupid.. i know

So it was notarized in NC for the seller only correct? The problem I have is a seller finding a notary to do the "seller only"

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. But has anyone had any experience with buying a bike titled in North Carolina? The seller insists that both parties need to physically be present. I think I've only every purchased from non-notary states before and there is the whole thing about just certifying the sellers signature. Anyone have any insight? Thanks -Mike

Did you try nighthawk-forums.com and maybe put up a request for an engine ? It's been some time now but I met a guy on the east side of Cleveland who something like 20 700s and 650s in varying states. I'm sure someone has an engine if it comes to that. Unfortunately I had his info on an older version of the forum, and that and a ton of other information was lost.

I have this bike as an 85, in red. It's the only bike that I didn't sell to move onto the next, its a classic and works so well. Yours is clean, I would give all these options a shot before you part ways with it.

The fit is actually a pretty fantastic little car. Its in the class of the Fiesta, but actually has more usable room than a Focus. The magic seats and setup is great. The 3 cylinder fiesta/focus is pretty awesome as well though.... someone mentioned that prior. GTI for fun factor, but reliability is a bit...sketchy

and to think my wife thinks I get bored and trade out often... i go back and forth on car vs bike or a different bike every other year or so.... you guys got me beat... apparently I am committed!

Tried other tires and went to a PR3 and never looked back, now upgraded to PR4. Worth every penny.

I mean it HAS channels for glasses, they are just in the wrong spot for my head,. I can sort of make it work, I just moved onto something else. I can send it back minus a small fee, but I figured I'd put it out here. If I wasn't blind I'd keep it... Its a really nice helmet.

I scanned the posts, didn't see any mention of plugs. My fathers EB 3.5 had very similar issues. He changed the plugs and has had no issues. I think he is around 65k or so.

Used this for about a half hour, it doesn't jive with my glasses/sunglasses very well. Other than that its a really solid helmet. Matte black with the hi-viz yellow/green. It is a size XXL and I have the original cheekpads and some thinner XXXL cheekpads as well. I have all the goodies, even the box. $115 shipped OBO or can do something local... let me know. thanks

a couple years back I was buying the blazer bricks of 500 for under $15, go to the range with the misses, blow through quite a bit. But as others have said its been a long time since I've picked any up. Its hard to come by and when you do find it it, its quite expensive. I'll just shoot the 9mm instead. I've tried the walmart thing, someone has to be in the know.... none of them never have anything but 22 shotshell

I was going to ask about the powertrain warranty. You would not have a lemon law claim, but could have a Mag-Moss breach of warranty if they couldn't fix it in a reasonable amount of time, but since that is expired, thats out as well. I have no other good input. dealers blow. I do suggest you persist and don't let them blow you off. I had a dealership OWNER tell me there was something wrong with me because he had thousands of satisfied customers.... so the problem was me...not them. Its OK .. nothing a good attorney didn't fix.
