Wash all the road spray and bugs off the Connie from the weekend. Then decided to wire a relay into the ignition switch for the heated grips on the wife's Vstar. So she can't leave them turned on anymore and run her battery down. Not a pretty wiring job but its ran properly with fuses and rely. No-one will ever see it under the side cover. Best part was it was free, some parts and a rely I had laying around.

Just a quality brand. Like I said that's a minimum... minimum. In other words better than nothing. Nothing being shorts or jogging pants. I run textile tour jacket and over pants. Fits my needs and offers medium protection and moderate comfort.

I need to do the same, family vacation in 4 weeks and bike trip a couple weeks after that and if I want to enjoy foods on vaycay I need to get to work NOW.

I live in the country and still would rather not commute on the bike. To suit up for a 11 mile ride seems like a waste and then I have to stow my lunch bucket on the bike and then get to work and stow my gear. Fuck that. The bike is for enjoyment not to ride to a place I don't want to be in the first place. I put 10k plus a year on the bike and almost never ride to work.
