  1. No love at Kennedy's. They have to order them too.
  2. I'll be running set number 8 & 9 of the T30 this season at some point
  3. Well yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of this event. Looking back I'm so grateful it wasn't much worse. Want to thank all of those again that helped me get through that. Year later I still have pain and stiffness in my back with the bulging disk and a pinched nerve in my L2 that makes my left thigh burn and tingle all the time. But it is what it is, probably have to deal with it the rest of my life. One thing's for sure it's made me appreciate life a whole lot more and made me more cautious.
  4. Defiantly a lot of engineering went into these bikes.
  5. Probably a slim to non chance but I'll give them a call to check today. Hell if they had them I'd just drive up to get them. Already placed an order through PartsZilla and paid for Expediting shipping but one of them is a non-stock item says allow additional 2 to 3 days. Normally I'd beat myself up over something like this too but Kawasaki put those two hoses on a different page of the parts diagram versus all the other coolant lines. Who knew a bike would have 9 seperate hoses to run coolant through.
  6. Started replacing all the coolant lines on he bike only to realize once I had the system drained and pulled apart that I forgot to order the two hoses for the oil cooler. DANN IT! Probably be a week before I can get them.
  7. That's what happens when your chasing down a fucking race bike all summer.
  8. Nothing to do with the angle and more to do with damaged part most likely from over tightening. Hard to see but here is final install with my wire harness back in front of it.
  9. Did a test run with the cruise control today it worked great. Found out real quick not to hit resume in anything lower than 5th gear. Almost most did a cruise control whoolie. Took it out sans fairings because i didn't want to take them back off if I had to tweak something. I live on a very hilly road and it held 55 in 6th grar (OD) and only lost 2 mph up the biggest hill before it kicked in. When i got back to the house I did realize the linkage had tightened up which is odd cuz I honestly thought it would do the opposite over time. That's when I discovered this. Not sure if I did it during the install or if it was a faulty part originally but there were enough threads to just reposition the bracket and shorten it.
  10. Not my bike but changed a rear tire on a sportster today. I'm confused, some bolts are metric some bolts are standard and you have to take the left shock off to remove the brake caliper bolts. Fucking Harley.
  11. Think the price of the T31s will come down when all the T30s are gone. The RS3 so far is a good tire on my bike. Feels good handles well. It has a very heavy carcass so maybe it will handle the heat better and last longer. I'm at 2100 miles on mine and it still looks good. I'll probably leave it on for the gap trip. I have another set of them I'm going to put on when we go out west. Also have 2 sets of T30s I'll be running this year.
  12. Yea 55 tire will make it even taller. With the Terrys seat and 55 tire I'm perfectly flat foot with zero knee bend.
  13. I'm assuming your running a 55 series tire too? Just the seat shouldn't make you tip toe.
  14. Everyone needs a charity case in their lives. And you are ours. Nice looking box little buddy.
  15. That box sucks and I'm a box expert.
  16. I've picked up my average over the last couple years. Im trying damnit.
  17. FYI for those that don't know. No, they DO NOT come in "5 quart jugs" they are gallon jugs. o
  18. You mean you have to change it every 50k miles? Well shit.
  19. Yup, been running it for almost 5 years in the Connie.
  20. You know me bubby my work schedule is always a last min thing. But if I can i plan on coming. I can bring any last min deserts or chips or just bring some stripper ones.
  21. Sorry that's my mock up pic...lol.. you really think I'd leave that rough non rounded backet that way with no washers or threadlock on the hardware? I'm a god damn professional hack not sone two bit one.
  22. The cable does run a tad at a angle from the bracket to the TB linkage at closed throttle.but at WOT it is perfectly straitup and down. The ball on the TB linkage travels down and to the left. Not a perfect sinario bit the best it can get with out risk of a bind. There isn't enough room to angle it perfectly and the cable from the servo would have a really tight bend if tried to run it a different way. I think with my final product I did rotate it a few degrees clockwise to make it slightly less of a angle vs that picture.
