  1. 24x40..I currently have 3 cars, 2 bikes a zero turn mower and still room to work on stuff in there. Yea i waited 15 years for a proper garage I got all the room I could get. Really wish it was 28x40 but it wasnt possible. When the snow stops for good her old red turd work car will go back outside to make room to pull the bikes in and out and able to turn them around in the garage.
  2. Didn't really do anything to the bikes but mounted a hitch on the vacation transportation to be able to take them with us.(and yes I've already purchased a 4inch riser to get them high off the ground) And sorry my quality of pedal machines is stuck in the 80s..lol
  3. That's the way mine looked last year and i noticed a huge difference. This time around I had to separate the fork legs and was able to do a more thorough flush. And now just bouncing it in the garage it feels even better than last year.
  4. Yup sprung a leak on the fall gap trip. Fresh seals, fluid and a good cleaning.
  5. Yup, I'm the king of people taking shit I say the wrong way.
  6. Direct quote from his dad on FB last night "It is crazy how light it feels" . But his dad is also is used to full size Harleys.
  7. I personally will never have a loan for a bike I look at it as if I can't save up and pay cash for a want item I don't need it. Not saying anything is wrong with it just saying it's not my gig. But if I had to I would check with Credit unions like some have already said. Find one that might work with your new employer and will do payroll deduction. That's how we got my wife's new(to us) car in 2016 and they gave us a 1.99% rate. No other lending institution would even come close on a used car.
  8. Rates aren't really that bad but credit reporting agencies look at it like a credit card. I used them a few years ago to consolidate some medial bills and never had anyone calling or emailing me in this way. Loan was paid off a year ago and the only solicitation I get is lending tree wanting to give me another loan.
  9. I see how it is. The Connie is the Black Sheep of the family and isn't included in the family photos.
  10. There is no doubt there are gun grabbers out there that would say almost anything to make that happen. But the theory that our own government is behind, 911, Sandy Hook, Vegas, Orlando or even Parkland is freaking insane. I'm all in for the 2nd amendment but all this conspiracy bullshit ON BOTH SIDES needs to stop. Trump isn't Hitler, Obama wasn't Hitler no one is trying to "take over" America from with in. Yes they are all liars on their own agenda ALL of them(both sides) usually on a economic agenda not a take over a nation level. I like my guns I want to keep my guns and i'll fly that banner all day long. But as soon as someone that I support starts slinging the mud in a way that just seem insane I'm done with them. With todays tech and cameras in every ones pocket there is no way a large government cover up could ever fly. I'm about to go on a social media unfriend campaign due to this and ill be unfriend both people that support the left and right because I'm just that sick of it.
  11. Yours has linked brakes dosnt it? Mine does not, wonder how many less lines mine has. Still rocking the stock lines on my 08.
  12. You need to get this done before June and join us for the gap trip.
  13. I had high hopes as a replacement for the connie in a few years. Would have been nicer for the wife on the back too. But it would be 95% for me and it just didn't fit. I'm a 2 bike guy at the most and the second one will be flickable little bitch.
  14. This is probably the best and most accurate description of it ive heard. I'm sure its a quality machine but dated.
  15. That price is too high for the heaviest lowest tech ST on the market.
  16. Sat on the new one at the IMS, have now checked it off my short list. Didn't care for ergos at all or the seating position.
  17. Yea really hard to answer that question without riding them studying them and sitting on them. Like others have said each has its own personality just need to find the one that fits you. I love my Connie but I've seen justins FJR do amazing things but when I rode one several years ago it just didn't for me. VFR is an amazing power plant but I think you give up ergos. Also look at the after market for each bike because you know you will be customizing it for yourself. Obiously any questions about any of them you can ask us on here and well give you all the info you need. Im very well versed on the Connie, Justin is on the FJR and I'm sure Tony could give some insite on the honda. And you know tou have a open invite to take mine for a spin but if you break it you bought it...lol
  18. Yea fuck all that noise where you have to trust him to send it to you. Play it safe and do what other have said above.
