Don't feel too bad! I just had to fix my leaking dishwasher (new vent fan system), oven (new heating element), coffee maker (bought new Keurig), and now I need a compressor relay for my fridge (lost everything in our fridge and freezer). Also, was riding my RZR the other night, went in for a warm up, came back out, and it's not firing now. Just put a new Lithium battery in it too ($200). This has all happened in the last two weeks. FACK!!!!! So, things could be worse. But I feel your pain...and so does my fucking wallet!!!

Yes, book extras when you get there. There may be different groups offering the same excursion for different prices. They're almost all willing to negotiate some. There are direct flights from CMH and CVG to CUN. Only way to go.

We went to Beaches in La Romana DR in September. The week between Irma and Jose. This is the first time we've ever gone anywhere other than the winter time. That won't happen again. It's freaking miserably hot and humid. DR was fine, but resort is outdated. A/C didn't work for about 30 hours after a tropical storm. We got 7 nights all inclusive including air for $2600. That included upgrading to the exclusive adult section, and upgraded seats in the air, among some other small upgrades. We spoke to another couple that used travelbybob to a different resort, and they got a very similar trip for just under $2k. English is not their first language here, and it can be hard to communicate if you don't know Spanish. We went to Riviera Maya two winters ago to a brand new Secrets Akumal Bay. It was really, really nice. About $4k all inclusive with air. January Secrets Negril Jamaica was around $4500. We didn't go to Mexico in September because the travel agent wasn't too comfortable with all of the crap that has been going on. Not to say this stuff wasn't happening before, it just seems a little uneasy down there now. Hope this helps.

I buy WD by the gallon. And go through a gallon a year, at least. You dirt riders probably know that it's great to coat the underside of your fenders before riding in wet conditions. Also cleans plastic very well. I typically spray the whole bike except tires, brakes, grips, seat and levers. Water displacement.
