Interesting, I've never seen them on the trails either. I can't believe how much maintenance they've done int he last few years. I guess the side by side option has helped/hurt with widening the trails. Some parts are almost getting Wayne-ish. I've always preferred Perry County because it's always been a lot more technical. Plus, there isn't really any areas that are "off limits". We had a blast, and it wasn't very busy!!!

You should be able to find some open riding areas on this website... http://www.pitracer.com/index.php?forums/ Most are race tracks, but there is also an area for trails and what not.

I've also seen people recycle old slabs that have been broken up, if you know any concrete guys. They can look really good.

The reason I ask is because we just had to figure out an inexpensive way to stabilize a steep slope at one of my job sites recently. Good place for snakes and what not though.

Good luck getting a Gabion wall to look that good too. Typically, a piling wall would be kind of expensive due to the steel, and having to drive them down with a piece of equipment. Do you have enough room to grade the area back, maybe to a 1:1.5 slope?

What place are you speaking of? I've spent a lot of time in NE Cinci, and haven't ever found a great place.

We like to go to Downtown Indy....Hyatt Regency (room with an outside balcony), or the Marriott (free drinks and apps until 6 or something). St Elmo's Steakhouse for dinner. Walk around to all the breweries and shit. You can also stay at the Crown Plaza at Union Station and stay in a train car. They are really cool!

I just caged St Rt 3 from 119 to Barboursville today.....great road that I wish I was riding. Great shape! I highly recommend.
