  1. Gardone was the Berretta manufacturing facility that made your gun. From another website; Carcano strippers; http://northridgeinc.com/store/index.cfm/c146/i1413 (5 for $29 in brass) https://www.buymilsurp.com/loading-clip-6-round-for-65-735-carcano-rifles-qty-1-p-945.html ($15 each, blued steel)
  2. I got a Gt-Air this spring also. Agree with pretty much everything Mary had to say about it. I find it is about the same volume level as my old RF-1000 when I am on the Triumph but it seems quieter to me on the Ducati without a fairing or windscreen disturbing the airflow around my head. I guess it's a tradeoff. The first two weeks of wearing it took some getting used to, but now that it's broken in I am loving the feel of it.
  3. Wouldn't let me send you a pm. You wouldn't have a spare GE 97f9472 capacitor laying around would you? The fan motor in my compressor unit is making a terrible amount of noise, one of the bearing failed on it. Ordered the new fan motor but didn't order the cap, figured after the fact I should probably replace them as a pair. If you still have my phone# from when you came out, give me a ring when you get a chance.
  4. I probably just haven't found it yet but what happened to the NSFW area?
  5. Why not just buy superglue remover? http://www.hobbytown.com/Shop/De-bonder-2oz/
  6. Check your recordings. Direct tv is not till 10pm on History HD.
  7. It's been two or three weeks but last time I was down at Motohio they had a blue '07 Sprint ST in the showroom with bags. Not sure if it's still there or not.
  8. I haven't ridden the one with the 955 engine. My 2006 Sprint ST with the 1050 motor is just about the perfect bike. I have done 400+ mile days on it without any problems. I am riding it to Arkansas in 2 weeks. Gonna be 1600 miles in 6 days. It's just as nimble as a sport bike in the twisties but can do the long days in a straight line if needed.

    Reloading

I would have loved to purchase a Dillon machine, but for what I paid for the Lee progressive it can't be beat, mine was $179 + shipping from Lee. I was able to buy the press, 4 tool heads and 3 shell plates along with the dies to do 9mm, .357sig, 40s&w and .45acp and even built the bench it is bolted to for about the same cost of just the dillion press by itself. I can make ammo that is just as good as the Dillon can and it is darn near as fast. You gotta pay a heavy entry fee to load with blue. My plan was to save the cash on the front end and then if I ever do wear out the Lee press, I can afford another one.

    Reloading

I have both RCBS and Lee presses. The Lee is my pistol press, I have the loadmaster progressive. Its not as nice as a Dillon but it's also 1/3 the price. I have no problem running around 300 rnds an hour by myself and 350-400 with help.
  11. I have them and delt with it when I crashed my Ducati. It went well enough. I had the parts list already printed up with everything on it. It was a good thing as my bike didn't show up in his laptop and it probably would have really delayed getting a check cut. They paid to fix mine so I have no idea how their process works if the bike is totaled.
  12. Well, being this post has come back around and I have upgraded some of my gear. Shoei Gt-Air helmet Icon Compound jacket (Half leather-half textile) Fieldsheer Mercury pants Sidi B2 boots. Held Thrux gloves.
  13. Geez, I'm glad I had you work on mine earlier in the year when reach around were only 6% of the total. . I turned the a/c on for the first time the other day, it is cooling much better than before. Thank you for the service help.
  14. I have the Joker Machine 09-314-CC cafe mirrors on my Ducati. Certainly not cheap but I like the looks and they function great. Also check for Napoleon Mirrors, much less expensive option for bar end stuff. http://jokermachine.com/products/cafe-racer/mirrors/cafe-style-bar-end-mirrors.html
  15. Also, don't forget that bike engines displacement was in cc's. The old school aircraft engines are in cubic inches. Much larger cylinders and power output.
  16. Sorry I hold nothing against Glocks and I don't even own one. Firing pins break, so do extractors, it happens. I have broken two firing pins in the last ten years. First one on my 1911 and the other in a Browning shotgun. Both my guns have 10's of thousands of rounds through them at this point. If the officers trained with their weapons regularly maybe their guns have high cycle counts on them also. Besides, has anybody looked at the quality of what usually passes for police trade-in's at most gun stores. I wouldn't wish some of that crap on criminals let alone officers with how beat up the stuff is.

    Beer Pics

This was good stuff on Saturday night. Then followed it up with a bottle of Trois Pistoles (sorry no pic of that one)
  18. Did you try pushing forward on the trigger? I have a bolt gun that releases going that way.
  19. Even though she got knocked out fairly early, I was hoping they would bring back that Michelle Viscusi girl from season 4. Bring some eye candy to season 5.
  20. Stopped at Cabela's in WV, Woodbury out in St Clairsville, Buckeye Outdoors and the Gander in Reynoldsburg. Not a single box of 22LR in any of them.
  21. This is what happens when you hit a turkey that is airborne. Got it at about 65mph, around 3k worth of damage.
  22. I used to fly down to BWI from PHL just to get lunch sometimes. Needed a change of airport food menus and there were flights that I could make the round trip on my lunch break.
  23. The sad part is it's for real. Search Billy the Human Billboard.
  24. I was gonna make comment on that and then realized he just doesn't know us well enough. My 1000cc Ducati with it's wet clutch and aircooled lump is probably nothing like what most people think of when they hear the brand name.
