  1. Well, so today is a good day for gun stuff. I get to double post. Some of the ammo I ordered finally arrived. It's not every day you get 400rds of .30-06 M2AP in the mail.
  2. I had been looking to pick up a Springfield EMP in 40S&W and they seem to be out of stock everywhere. So I was down at the local toy store and found this; Brought home a Kimber instead. It's the custom shop 3" Ultra CPD II in 45acp. Tritium night sights, ambi safety, front strap and bottom of the trigger guard and hammer spring housing are all checkered. The grips are fat on it though, they are even thicker than the grips I have on my full size 1911. I have a new set of slimline grips ordered already along with some Bianchi leather.
  3. If you want super high power light check out the www.wickedlasers.com/torch its a 4100 lumen flashlight.
  4. I have the S&W MP6 flashlight 307 Lumen on hi, 34 on low. It has the normal push button rear switch for hi/low and momentary. Has a second switch on the side of the barrel up near the front to lock it into strobe mode. They says it's just under 2hr's of light on high before the standard A123's are dead. Haven't pushed the standard alkaline that hard yet. Let us know how the rechargeable go. I have been interested in them but was watching the same mediocre reviews. I like the big warning on the amazon ad for those batteries that says not to use them with streamlight flashlights.
  5. #3 and #4 I have trouble with. How terrible can their traffic be that they would consider the morons in this country as pleasant? Oh and drinking, I have always taken pride in how much I can put back and still act normal.
  6. MaxPower got the deal. Ammo sold.
  7. I drive out to Briar Rabbit just south of Zanesville. Nice place that they are constantly updating. If you do go out there you gotta excuse the mud for a while though as they have changed so much stuff that the grass hasn't had a chance to grow back yet in many places.
  8. Ugh, kids these days . I remember when 9mm could be had for $5.99 or cheaper when it was on sale.
  9. BTTT, 22mag ammo is still for sale. Spring is coming, somebody is bound to need some good ammo for a groundhog, crow or coyote hunts.
  10. Don't know that I would bother, I don't own any but I am suspicious. Their website has sale ads that are 2 months out of date and their Facebook page hasn't been updated since November. Lots of poor reviews on their FB page also. Seems like it's a buyer beware situation to me.
  11. So the next dumb question would be, can you register it as an NFA item in Ohio. True NFA "Automatic firearms" are legal in Ohio. Why not a magazine that they claim turns a standard firearm into an "automatic" one. I have always wanted to purchase a snail drum mag for my Luger pistol. It makes the gun 32+1 but our dumb laws continue to jam a brother up.
  12. I've got spieglerusa on my Ducati. I needed to swap mine due to a handlebar height change. The OEM braided lines were still good so I can't say I noticed any real performance increase going to a different brand. I like them so far though, 2 years in and the finish on the lines is not showing any signs of corrosion on the end fittings and the lines themselves still look like new.
  13. Nope, still have the .22 mag, it's an AMT Automag II pistol. Unfortunately it is very ammo sensitive and it seems to particularly not like this stuff. The accuracy is great but it refuses to eject this ammo. The inside of the chamber on the pistol has gas vent holes to control extraction speed in a very similar manner and concept to the fluted chambers on the HK91 rifles. Using CCI and Winchester brand ammo it works and cycles fine but this stuff has a slightly softer brass and the case flows into the gas vent holes too much. It slows the slide down and short strokes the gun refusing to eject. I would imagine from a bolt action or a revolver chambered for 22WMR these things would be awesome.
  14. Looking to sell some Hornady 22 magnum I have. I have 9 boxes at $12 a box or $100 for all, here in Columbus area. They are 50rnds per box and if you buy all of them I will throw in the partially full 10th box for free. Hornady 22mag 25gr. NTX lead free polymer tipped hollowpoints.
  15. Geez, I guess this is why I stopped backing up my disks onto the HD. I ripped Transformers 3, DOTM onto the HD last night as an ISO file. Says it took 1hr 5min but it is hogging up 43.1GB of space. That's getting deleted this morning.
  16. I have a really old copy of Nero I used when running the windows XP computers. Worked fine on the older machines but it is not so happy in my newer win7 computer. It lets me rip music cd's but I haven't tried anything else. Most of the stuff that goes on the drives is just back up copies in case I trash the actual disk. Haven't need to worry about that step so far.
  17. I always used anydvd to rip DVD and bluray to an ISO file. Then used virtual clone drive to mount the ISO as if it was a physical disk. Allowed me to save everything exactly as it is on the original disk. 3-4 hours for a DVD seems terribly long. I could rip a 20 gig bluray faster than that.
  18. There are several differences in the bike he is riding and bike in the static pictures. On top of the front forks you also have the front fender painted different, the lower side fairings are painted different. It looks like the carbon fiber cover has fallen off the rear swingarm and is just resting there, it also has a different sticker placement on the swingarm cover from the ridden bike. Body panels on the ridden bike are held together with screws, static bike is 1/4 turn dzus fasteners. Even if I had the money I would walk away without seeing the bike in person first.
  19. I would start with the throw out bearing.
  20. Gotta wonder if the echo sounds different if you rip a big one on that versus old school porcelain.
  21. I have a few parts to a United Standard Hydro Quad system sitting unused in my basement if anybody wants it. I know it's at least the big silver tank with all the valving along with the black plastic holding tank, the holding tank is filled with plumbing parts but not sure if it belongs with the water softener or not. It has been disconnected for the 5 years I've owned the house and don't know it's history. I can take pictures if you want. The stuff is free as long as you come and get it.
  22. You need to get yourself an old hogs leg revolver. 1847 Colt design (Uberti built) picture was to compare to my much more modern S&W airweight.
  23. I have always upheld that if it can be proven he made the statement about wanting to go to another country it should be allowed. It would be a huge relief to us here. You buy the idiot a 1 way ticket to the country of their choice, put them on the no fly list so they can't come back and take away their citizenship. Problem solved.
