I have a Ducati and fill the forks with rice and Sake to try and get it to handle as well as a Honda.

If you wanted something slightly more flashy you could do the Casio edifice series watches. Stainless, analog, solar powered and atomic automatic nighty updates.

Casio G-shock. They are just hard to kill. On the flip side, why not just replace the band on your current watch if you like the thing. I usually go through two watch bands on each g-shock before I give up on them.

Gun stuff I got an 8 pocket mag pouch with 7 more mags for the 1911 along with an alice belt and a Blackhawk Serpa retention holster. Bike parts for the Duc I got an EVR billet sprocket cover and some cool bolt covers to dress things up. The lower triple and a bunch of other stuff is out being powder coated. For the Triumph I got the correct parts to swap it over for GP shift.

I've never worked on the military stuff. Got tons of time on commuter airliners and smaller. Looks all the same to me, an engine/pump/apu/whatever surrounded by a ton of lines so you can barely see it let alone work on it. :-)

She doesn't need a long one or the wide one. She probably is looking for the one that holds its shape the best and will stay that way for longer than she needs.

You would like my collection then. I have a pair of No1MK3 rifles and an original No5 jungle carbine.

Sorry to take this back to gun topic but it is something that made me laugh. Magz seems to have a serious misconception of semi-auto firearms. A bolt action firearm in the hands of a trained shooter can be fired accurately and just as quickly as a semi-auto firearm. I have personally demonstrated this while shooting in competition. I have used both a bolt action British Enfield rifle and the American made M-1903 bolt action rifles in competition against the semi-auto AR-15's and also Garand and M1A rifles. Just Google the mad minute. I have never tried from 300 yard but my personal best at 100 yards is 22 hits with 28 fired inside a 12 inch target. With a gun that holds 10 bullets that works out to one bullet fired roughly every second and the time it takes to do two reloads. You need to be hauling ass to make it work but it can be done. Oh And if you don't bother to look it up. The record stands at 38 hits in one minute on a 12 inch target 300 yards away. This was done in 1914 with a bolt action rifle and has not been beaten since.

A single armed guard at a school is useless. There are many schools around the country that already have private armed security forces and metal detectors at all entrance points, use Philadelphia as an example if you want to see violence in schools. http://www.philly.com/philly/news/special_packages/inquirer/school-violence/117934314.html You know what, violent crime still happens at these schools. Some of these schools have more violent crime per year than some small cities. It may not be mass murder but beatings, stabbings and gang crime still happens. You can regulate the living shit out of the law abiding citizens and it is still not going to stop a criminal from hurting people.

I have mine on the second floor in my reloading room. Its a 25 gun Liberty Colonial, roughly 560lbs empty. I think mine was the same as what Kiggy74 paid, about $150 to deliver to the house and haul it up the stairs.

Huh? Sudafed makes people bad? When did this happen, that shit just made my nose stop running. I think what you meant to say is look what happens when CRIMINALS take pseudoephedrine (Sudafeds base ingredient) and cook it into the illegal drug methamphetamine. The drug itself is still not the root cause of the problem, the CRIMINALS are still the problem. They have just found another way to take a common item and change it's purpose on the planet to allow it to ruin the lives of other people. Just the same notion that saying guns are the problem when the real issue is the unstable nutjob behind the trigger with no sense of right or wrong. Not a single gun manufacturer ever (repeat EVER) had the intention of making a gun specifically so some unstable teenager could go running into a mall, school, movie theater or any other public place and start shooting children. If any of you gun hating sheeple really think that somehow the only purpose of owning guns is so you can do illegal things with them, you really have something wrong in your head. And even worse so if you feel the need to blame the gun for something a criminal, psycho, or hopped up druggie does with it.

Surprised nobody was begging for her name. Oh ya, It's Allison Stokke.

Something I have done in the past. Remove camshaft so you can be absolutely sure all the valves are closed. Put all the sparkplugs back in and then crank the engine with the starter. The combustion chamber pressure should be able to pop the head up and off the block dowel pins. As a very big warning. Do not try this if there is any anti freeze or water in any of the cylinders, or if any of the valves can't be confirmed as fully closed.

BTD's epic fail. Hot wife, obviously cold and wearing a silly vest so we don't get any hard nip action. You may return after you learn the Man Rules.

Got this email today, and figured it's a good reminder for all of us.

Huh, consider me wacky. My bike is apart getting the front fork oil replaced, wheel bearings checked and re-greasing the steering head. The rear is next on the list once the bike isn't hanging off the ceiling in my garage. Guess I should check myself into the looney bin. -
They must be extra dedicated. There's roughly 100 thousand ohmmmms in that religion.

That picture helps complicate the issue for most people. The garand is what I was referring to in my comment. Sure, out of the gun a garand enbloc is by definition a clip. The problem is that once it is inserted into the rifle it becomes the magazine. The garand rifle has no other means to store ammo internally for use other than the enbloc. So in all reality it is both a clip and a magazine.
-
I love the whole clip/mag debate. Only because I have guns that break the rules as to why things are called what they are. As for the loaded in the safe thing. I keep several guns in my safe loaded. They are all empty chambers though. I had considered the result of a fire strong enough to defeat the rating on mine. I have rifle ammo that will punch holes in 1/2inch of armor plate, the roof of my safe is no where near that strong.

Am I the only one who thinks 750cc is just right?

I really need to weigh my bike, I bet it can do those numbers. Its got 68ftlbs for a claimed 400lb bike. I've removed a bunch of weight so real world may be back down to that claimed number. -

I like my 1000cc light weight air cooled twin. No need for a 750cc machine in my life. :-) -
Yup, sorry not necessarily a noob . I'm straight forward and don't feel the need to lie or deceive about my motives these days..

I have a brand new bottle waiting for somebody to help me kick. Straight from a Mexican dive resort. Challenge thrown down.
