  1. I've been fighting the trailer "bug" all year and here you are.....enabling me.....you're mean man.....just mean. GLWS, as I must stand resolute in my decision to stay trailer free for now
  2. Those are good, and not a hateful pricetag. Q2's are good stuff too but cost a bit more than this guy is asking. Never ran these myself, but friends boast they're good rubber. I just got about 500 miles on my Q2's and like them so far

Franklin Iron in Dayton has tons of "drops", spare leftovers from bulk cuts, and can be had way cheaper than new sheet or plate stocks. Do scrapyards sell as well as buy? If so, that would be the place to go. Couple manhole covers and you got some BMG backstops
  4. Nice ride! I loved the Gnarly on my last CR250, mucho grunto! GLWS
  5. AMA Motocross was barely aired on Speed this year, caught some of it on MAV but I've always relied on Speed for the Supercross season. USOpen is live this Saturday night at 10p on Speed channel, so hopefully they cover the whole season before killing it. Assuming FIM will get passed to another channel or 2 along with AMA on another? There NEEDS to be some damn dedicated HD MOTORCYCLE CHANNELS!

Dish wont risk losing more customers by broadcasting their loss of AMC, but every other network that AMC is still with has to see/hear about it everyday all day Seems AMC definitely has "limestone vagitis" ( rockitus in twatus ) over the ordeal

  10. Check these out Jack... http://www.aerostich.com/5-function-digital-meter.html http://m.rei.com/mt/www.rei.com/product/833034/highgear-trailpoint-compass http://m.sears.com/productdetails.do?partNumber=02814870000P&reviewCount=zero&itemSrc=Online Or if you want a motorcycle specific setup ( since some cheaper compasses can be affected by the surrounding metal on your bike and could be off up to 30some degrees ) check out this place http://www.formotionproducts.com/gauges_menu.htm Edit - while I was stacking my list surfing selections, Hue and Recon beat me to it

  12. DAMN! You homeless folk are relentless! Screw the place to live, buy the camera!!
  13. Gotcha, bump it again if it falls through
  14. What model Contour? I might take it, and what size card?
  15. I'd show it off at some trap shoots. But like you're saying, play around with it safely. Even lightly used I'd expect it holds some value over a standard model since its a ltd production right? May be able to trade or sell it off in 20 years for more than its worth now. Serialed at what? 546 or 548? Hard to tell in the pic. Either way, nice freebie!!
  16. Edit - whoops, just realized this is a 3 year old post dug up from the dead
  17. Yank the drop in liner. It will rub anything you paint under it right off, and continue to destroy the bed. Roll on is the way to go like others are recommending and a way cheaper route. My Dad's Chevy rotted out quick from a drop in, my last Toyota did the same. They are bad news.
  18. Stellar work as usual Doc, like the backing track a lot too. Cant wait for next years event and hopefully its twice as fun and even more can come. Awesome territory down there, so its a "must ride" again!

  20. Well sir, you went with the wrong 50 of the 50-50 Took me a bit to get the hang of it too man
  21. If you spend money on the bigger better units, some will load/draw/charge batteries off and on, but I should have mentioned you wont need to leave it on the tender ALL winter. I will hook them up once in a while throughout but I have the cheaper models. Cold doesn't phase a battery like heat does. We leave our agm and lead acid batteries in an unheated storage trailer at work all winter long, but in the summer months we will bring them inside where its cooler. Up to you on fuel stabilizer, its not for everyone I guess. Another thing I failed to mention is its a good idea to do and oil change just before ( or at least late in the season ) before storage. Helps keep acidic levels lower for the internals. I've always done it, and then once warmer weather breaks you just check the tire pressure, fire it up, and ride!
  22. You were close Chad, just copy the image code under the pic in you album
  23. New season is about to kickoff! Almost blood, gut, and bullets hour!
