  1. Yeah, @Dizzledan didn't use any scent blockers.....just a flashlight and a camera to go bear hunt the south grounds at Fontana a couple years back LOL
  2. THIS. My local dealer Rhemerts Kawasaki/KTM in Versailles Ohio is dirt only with their KTM lineup, but they carry all of Kawasaki's lineup including SxS's and PWC's. I had to find a KTM street/dirt dealer elsewhere too. Oh, and the wife and I are out for this meetup.....got a show to play
  3. Wife and I wont make it to the services, but did leave my condolences on the funeral home's obit. Damn, this sucks on an epic level. We definitely need a way to commemorate him to show some OR love for the guy
  4. I think this is relative to each persons fitness level and recovery rate. When I started Crossfit, I was really sore for 3-4 days....but the longer I've done it, the faster my muscle groups recover. I'll workout until my legs shake and I'm barely able to stand, the difference now is that my stamina is slowly improving as well as how quickly I get past the sore stage. Obviously stretching and foam rolling the pain away makes a big difference too. I doubt that I'll ever reach a point to where I won't hurt the day after a heavy workout; if so, then I obviously didn't do enough...but feeling good enough to get back in the gym on the 2nd day shows me the improvements are coming slowly but surely.
  5. Horrible to hear this. Probably one of the most accepting people I'd ever met. I will definitely be stopping and spend a little time thinking of him at the Dragon Overlook this year ( and every year, for that matter )....was the last place I got to visit with him. That guy will be sorely missed.
  6. There's something to be said about riding the roads around the Gap area. I don't ride nearly as many miles/days in succession throughout the year as I do down there. Now, mind you I don't ride down there and back....I trailer to and from....but once there, the adrenaline and excitement keeps me in the saddle far longer than I'd typically ride around here. Similar to SEO roads, the ride to and from the annual Epic rides usually suck since it's primarily interstate.....but once there, love every mile of it with little sense of being overwhelmed or exhausted.
  7. Nah bro, no offense taken whatsoever....and I'm not taking a stance on trailering, I'm just pro choice is all. For the little extra it costs us to trailer down and back, we feel it's worth it. And some might agree, where others don't - that's the luxury of a free country. I dig all you folks, all the same.
  8. Never do anything dumb down there, but then again....it's not always simply a riders choice to NOT crash, things happen.....but to each their own in that respect
  9. Wife and I trailer down every year. Not because it's so much about comfort or time savings, mainly about peace of mind knowing should one of us wad it up down there, we have means on tap to get the bikes back home.
  10. It's been quite some time now actually. When I bought my Sprint there back in November 2016, they had just merged shortly before.
  11. Agreed! My wife's gone nuts today for sure. Thank God for this bad case of bronchitis, or else I'd have been expected to be there too
  12. I know STT and Motoseries hosted trackdays there, but that's been a few years ago since I've been
  13. Finally got the rest of my race prep goodies last week, now it's a waiting game on decent temps outside so I can get to finishing my KTM in time for OMRL season.
  14. I typically shop locally to size up what fits in brands I'm looking at, then hit up Mike @ RidersDiscount for the best deal on it
  15. Wife and I are out for this......already have family gigs planned from Friday through Monday. So be sure to drink irresponsibly and get lots of pics
  16. Welcome - there's some Strom owners here that would surely have info you're after. Congrats on finally getting a ride!
  17. Wheels have sold a while ago, but still have the following for sale.... Roaring Toyz ZX14 etched mirror blockoffs Stock windscreen Stock front pegs Stock kickstand Stock header pipe and LH silencer Militant Moto Barrier Bar frame slider system
  18. Subscribed for the vicarious living entertainment - cant wait to see the pics! Ride safe fellas
  19. Yes sir, gorilla sized suit is a go! Won't be doing any roadcourse trackdays this year, my bike setup and focus will be on racing OMRL....but glad to hear your going to be coaching again. Can't wait to hear how your 790 does out there, it definitely should be impressive against other bikes in it's class
  20. Got the suit today Mike. Looks awesome, well made....and....IT FITS! Another 15ish pounds to cut before it's truly comfy, but I'm happy....Thanks man. These are really nice suits for the money folks, buy with confidence
  21. Thought there was a way to fast-age bourbon via electrolysis, yes?
