  1. Glad to hear the proceedure was a success, and that the pup's feeling better too
  2. Clean ride, I'll pass it along and help you fish.
  3. I'm no suspension guru, and I sort of agree - but the bike should at least be setup\sprung for him. While the forks are down would be most opportune time to drop in emulators and fresh oil.
  4. I just finished a 20" hbar build last month, aside from a bipod, that is. I spent months researching what I wanted vs what was affordable vs best bang for buck. The amount of shit to sift through is staggering, but once you figure out what you want the rifle to do, it gets easier to narrow down. I cheaped the LPK with a standard CMMG kit, but a light trigger spring kit and some ruby stonework on the sear helped smooth it out nicely, little over 4 pound pull. Eventually it may get a Timney drop in, but just to get it cycling and sighted, the cheap kit works well enough for now. I went rifle length gas system, heavy buffer (H2), standard spring.
  5. I know you'll be there, it just doesn't specify who's who in the poll results, just how many voted in which catagory I'd assumed you were another of the poll entries. I was prodding other locals to come out and share time. I've not been on AFJ for a while but the wife did say there's a handful of them coming to hang, as well as a few from Ninjette.org. Be good to finally meet you man You're an exception bro, home alone with an infant isn't an ideal time to try and head out to mingle.
  6. According to the poll there's only 7 committed to attend so far? That's it? It's 5 days away and we're reserved up to 25 on the restaurant side, so dont be shy folks. It's a fairly nice place with pretty good chow and it's kid friendly. Lets eat some wings and tell stories! And more importantly, come out to send off Tigerpaw with us. He's being reassigned overseas for this country, so let's tip mugs and shake the mans hand with respectful thanks
  7. Tough ordeal I'm sure. Got to be driving you nuts man. And I get pissy about a deeply seated hard booger now and then
  8. I "believe" Clinton County Motorsports offers a course, or may have at one time? You're definitely better at using tools than the english language bro
  9. I'd take them but would need some pruners to lop my toes off first, sorry bro but I wear 12's. But I will need a pair this year
  10. Voted. Newton will win by a landslide. Good luck to those girls
  11. Sucks to hear Sam, on both accounts. Here's to you both and a quick recovery.
  12. Primary goal is to get her acquainted with a sumo that's streetworthy to see if she'll even want to stick with it. Would hate to start her on a 100cc that she can only ride when we occasionally truck it to the cart track. Plus I could flip a tagged 250 much easier if she doesn't dig it. Her and racing wont be a thing for a while, she needs to get comfy before she can get competitive. You know, baby steps and all that. Sorry to shit up your sale thread
  13. We're actually looking into a KLX250SF to get her on the cart tracks, it's a couple inches shorter than most 250s so a lowcut seat will get her feet close enough to the ground. But I'd let her race OMRL for sure. She increases her skills and she'll clean house with her little size and weight advantages
  14. Maybe you should keep your sketti stained face out of this. I'm trying to get her into a sumo so there's different options instead of simply picking which color bike to ride ( but I concur, it's her choice ) She'd like a dedicated trackbike, and who wouldn't, but it's ultimately HER decision. I wont force her into getting a sumo if she doesn't want one. If she passes on this deal, I'd at least like to nab the braided lines and shock to upgrade her 300 AND help you make some extra c@$h money
  15. and welcome to the greatest country on the planet. However, I do agree with Casper that the U.S. should have a better endorsement regiment, might have saved "some" lives anyway. Come out to the Dayton meet and greet next weekend. It's at Little York Tavern on Poe Ave. Check it out in the Rides/Events section.
