  1. Love the Bell Stars, and doubt I'll ever wear another brand. The fit, the function, the form, I find it's awesome in every respect
  2. Just chug a beer, yank your fuel line at the petcock, fill empty can with several ounces of "instant-boyscout", apply to wood laden firepit, light the mouth of the can and chuck it in.
  3. Nice work! You gots sweet skillz
  4. Been a while, but our last foreman ( long since demoted for obvious reasons ) was shown a magnetic drain plug that had been pulled from a troublesome power divider differential that was covered in steel shavings. He actually asked the tech "is that aluminum or plastic?"
  5. $100 spent at your local Harbor Freight would solve the problem permanently....just sayin
  6. And the tail section from a ZX14 was pathetically photochopped in too ( which, imo, is a vast improvement over Suzuki's newer Busa tail design ).....likely an old prank from a pissy Busa owner
  7. I say let these boys decide to live or die by nailing their junk to a workbench, hand them a knife, then set the building on fire. You want to live? Enjoy life as eunuchs, you sick fuckbags... dafuq happened to parenting anyway Oh, thats right....we cant beat the little tards anymore
  8. Looks like Dan's 675R is pulling much better than the old GS500 did Sharp bike
  9. Welcome home, and thanks for your service Marine. We may plan a fall ride around Hocking, so keep your eyes peeled in the events section
  10. I can see both sides of this, but ultimately ( and sadly ) Harley is well within their right to deny. The owner must be completely clueless as to how physics ( and warranties ) worked against him, otherwise the flag mounts would've been removed prior to the dealer receiving it. If the claim CAN be deemed non-warrantable due to abuse/aftermarket parts damages, dealers are surely going pursue it to cover their own asses. Afterall, why would a dealer turn in a claim of that magnitude to only get denied and be left holding the bill? I see the hypocrisy in it. But like Recon said, it was probably overworked and overloaded from other gear/trailer as well. Ps. If he'd have ridden a Goldwing it would still be pulling fine, even with a parachute dragging behind it
  11. We ended up out at Johnson Farm along the private airstrip, saw just a few streaks but wasn't enough to keep our attention anymore. Stars were bright and visible that far out of town though, so city light wasn't a factor
  12. Lot of trees out there man, thinking we'll stay more local where Rt 66 hilltops out just north of town here. There's an old service station lot there where we can pull off and watch
  13. Anyone see anything yet? Or know about what time it's supposed to happen? I took a 2 hr nap earlier and have been pounding coffee all evening to stay up for this
  14. Nice ride Matt, congrats. Looks like quality equip for sure, and good stuff aint cheap. Our Cub will eventually get replaced with a zero mower....someday
  15. some of these make me wonder just how damaged are the population
  16. Good luck finding a decent selection of sport touring tires in those sizes Jack. Wife was shopping online for decent track tires for a while as her 300 runs almost the same sizes ( 140 rear ). We didn't find much available outside of Pirelli Sport or Corsa, but ideally, you'll want dual compound tires for best results in all 3 catagories you listed. Her stock IRC's haven't been too bad for what they are, she tracked them at Putnam last year and they did well enough for novice, but they are squaring off quick from slabbing to work. They definitely dont last at only 2k miles so far. If your swingarm can allow enough space to bump the rear to a 140 series, the options definitely broaden. Also, I'd definitely replace both after that kind of mileage. Will feel like a new bike
  17. His bike would collect every damn manhole cover in Ravenna!
  18. Would probably prove to be a lucrative move, pending the quality/fitment of course I'm seeing the leather gear is harder to find on the shelves locally in much over size 46/48. Textiles are typically readily available, which makes sense as it's inexpensive and is what I see a lot of bigger guys wearing. I'm a 2xl in most brands of textile, and 52/54 in leather jackets. Pants are the worst since it must be a government standard that if you've got a 40-42 inch waist, you'll nominally be 6'8 tall Best luck I've found for large folk of varying shape are Trackskinz custom leathers, they're built to your specifications and not the regulated standards.
  19. First of all and congrats on the new C14! Sorry to hear about the mishap, but I assume you faired well by keeping it up on 2 wheels? Wish I knew who to recommend on your side of the state. Over her on my side we use Rhemert's Kawasaki in Versailles, or Vista Kawasaki in Dayton. I guess let Google guide you through a positive review search for your area?
