  1. Hmm, never heard of it.......but I'm disappointed you didn't post any pics to kick off the celebratory day
  2. When I was a young dumbass, beatings did wonders to straighten me out when I'd act a fool. The step Dad went about it the right way for this day and age, but back in my day I'd have been bleeding from somewhere
  3. I'll text him and see if he plans to meet up with us
  4. Fix 'er up Doc, we crave some moto movie magic
  5. If you have it on an sd card, you can simply pop it into a photo printer at Walmart to get a print
  6. Thanx John, after I get more acclimated to my new bow I may hit you up about that. Do you go often? Seems there are a lot of dates on their event list
  7. Western/Southwestern Ohio pre-Epic meet thread started.....so be sure to enlist yourselves http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/104275-2014-epic-ride-meet-up-for-swohioans/#entry1381786
  8. EPIC RIDE IS MOVED TO MAY 18TH! Same plan, new day Western and Southwestern Ohioans, let's meet at Competition Accessories May 18th between 7-730am and then head down the street to Shell gas station ( corner of Leffel Ln and Limestone St/Rt72 ) @ 730ish a.m. to pound coffee, and fuel up before heading towards Logan by 8am SHARP. We will be sure to check back at Comp for anyone that may have been running late before rolling eastward towards Columbus GPS estimates a 1-1/2hr slab ride to the meet spot, so 2 hrs should give us plenty of cushion to be on time Competition Accessories 343 W Leffel Lane Springfield, OH 45506 There are a couple riders meeting our group south of Columbus at GetGo Fuel Station, 3765 S Hamilton Rd, Groveport, OH 43125 So, for other riders not from our side of Ohio that want to meet up, hopefully this secondary meet locale will entice more to join us. PLEASE chime in here if you're planning to join us so we'll get an idea of who to expect. I'll continue to modify this post to compile the roster. So far the CompAcc meet group is... Me Snot shadyone hahafzr - possibly a couple tag-a-long-future-OR-members Dubie - possibly a couple tag-a-long-future-OR-members Tigerpaw cptchaos Meeting our group in route @ Groveport about 9am Calinazaret Rollnhot
  9. John, I applaud the fact you shoot to raise money for the handicapped....but right now, I'm not even close to being ready to shoot competitively. This year is pure practice for me. We'll see how I bounce back into this since the late 80's
  10. Check out the Track Days / Road Racing subforum here......plethra of info there. Track time will teach you more than ANYTHING else, so post up and ask away!
  11. I've read about carpet targets, but I need something more mobile to stash in the garage or shed when not in use. If it can remain sub-100lbs then I can move it easily enough, and seems 3x3 would suit my needs. I'm sticking with field points for now as I've been out of the compound bow game for 20+ years, and need to get my target practice worked back in before even considering hunting. Afterall, you miss a kill with a broadhead setup, it's damned expensive Wow, yeah I'll never pay $300-$400 for a target when a decent custom build would ( or should ) be less than $100, but then again I'm just going to be occasionally shooting with this lifetime target and doubt broadheads will ever strike it, foam probably would not last long against them. Once I figure out which design to go with, I'll post up a little build thread for anyone interested. I'm not much of a carpenter, but these things are very simplistic to make. It's all in the packing/facing after the box is built. Thanks for the replies guys, anybody else got info to share on em? Where's our resident pro archers? Beegreenstrings or Ault around??
  12. Been surfing AT about building a lifetime target, and wondered if anyone here has built one? I've got a couple trashbags full of old clothes/rags for packing, and considering buying some target facing from Thirdhand Archery. Looks fairly inexpensive compared to store bought models of the same size, and much cheaper to maintain. I'd like to build a 3'x3' unless someone here has one up for sale Here's the facing supplier I'm talking about http://www.thirdhandarchery.com/product.asp?PRODID=16'>http://www.thirdhandarchery.com/product.asp?PRODID=16
  13. Nice choice on that year 10R, beastly bikes.
  14. Just found this thread, sorry to hear all of this, I've been intermittent around here lately. Chin up man. You're definitely being tested, but keep on keepin' on
  15. Bring that Gixxer to MidO July 18th and join us for the OhioRider's invasion trackday!
  16. Here I saw the thread title and thought you were 8 minutes late to a party Cool vid though
  17. Looks simple enough to put back to stock, just pull the extensions and put the stock length rear brake line and chain back on. Maybe put it back to stock and throw in the extensions, chain, brake line? Or sell off those parts seperately? Low mileage for an '05 - GLWS
  18. In the restaurant side opposite the bar. Just me and snot. I'm a big bald guy in black and my wife is the tiny brunette
  19. Or just buy Jeff's 750 tracker with loads of goodies
  20. Dont know anything about this particular owner/bike, but those SV650's are supposedly fairly bulletproof. Let Copeland check it out so you can go buy that thing. Decent deal there
  21. Awesome that RD got him, he'll definitely help catapult some business. Seems they've got the bike setup well for him. Then again, he's a damn good rider and can probably run top 5 on a freakin' potato
  22. You should be fine jumping to a different group after the ride starts Ryan. Its pretty laid back ruling so long as you dont add to an already overloaded group and/or see a faster or slower group at a fuel stop. Pending the number of leads/sweeps is where it counts. Hoping we have more than needed so the groups can remain smaller and more manageable. Ps, I'll be running a GoPro as well
  23. Sure it is, if you dont look down - now a big bald tatted ape is HARD to miss
