Back to civilization, finally some connectivity
first off sorry to all for being late. The one thing I am always proud of was being one of the first in every epic ride over the last few years and that too is gone now.
Story starts if by me getting a last minute trailer and ghetto rigging it and carrying the bike so I could travel with family and make a family vacation out of this as well. Since all plan last minute and in the hurry and trying to get things sorted I forgot the T I was supposed to wear and even the go pros. Any ways at least I didn't muck up the canyon dancers which I almost managed. Thx to @TimTheAzn for tips on the fly on tying it down . The morning of the ride tried to take the bike out and it wouldn't budge from the HF wheel "choke" hold. Man wish I had a GoPro running to record the next one hour of frantic circus. Which I could just make it black and white and upload with no sound. Would beat any Charlie Chaplin movie in a heart beat. Finally with every disassembled parts of HF flying every where, wheeling the trailer up and sliding the bike off etc, u get the picture. May be not.
Anyways, it was great meeting every one. Wish I was at least on time if not early to get pics of lot of folks. Some of them I pretty much see only once a year at best (looking at you @bubbies ) but thankfully the ride proceeded exactly as it should. Every one who came in were good exp folks who know the drill. Groups got organized by itself, no confusion, even got to take a group pic, and we were on the road pretty much on time. Close enough. Lol
@Scorpion-Ninja ur most awesome for making this huge as trek all this way without a break. Hopefully next year u get at least couple of riding buddies so the trip is some what safer and more fun. Plus u might need help getting out of that club on the way back. I owe you a dinner and one of these rides it will happen. plus may be get you that T shirt as well.
and finally thx for following me around and getting these pics @DerekClouser very rarely I get to be on the film. Learning points are immense watching yourself be a asshat rider I hope you guys had fun. I was still not 100% back yet after my gravel mishap, u must have noticed my pattern of excessive slow down and being scared of all suspicious stuff on road weather it's leaves or even shadow hehehe still can't fully commit to a corner without being paranoid and holding myself back. Was trying to fight my own demons and you prolly noticed me being fidgety and anxious and pumped up all at the same time hehehe,
at the end of the day weather was outstanding, great company and good riding. Even though At time we were doing stuff even OR doesn't approve off. By the end the big boys let there big guns roar and boy there is no comparison to 1K In line 4 going full blast. Even at triple digit and at the top of the lung for little triple and my naked bike shaking all over and my arms getting ripped off, I see you three hoORigans like sail away smooth and easy west end of 78. Missed the zx14 on that stretch. . Even a sheriff decided it was too far away to even turn around lol
@B-Mac th can for the tow back home, that was a good ride. I was thoroughly drained and it was a blessing to just tag along for a ride home.
@max power @durk the talk about quitting I will elaborate more on another topic hehehehe but it's complicated, right as of now the fun is dangerous but real, do t know what to do.
