  1. They are brand new. Came on a spare set of wheels that I got with the bike so I would just need to get them taken off. Id sell them for $340, save you $50 and shipping if we meet up somewhere. http://stores.racetireservice.com/GPA-PRO-SET-120-190/ On the supercorsas I currently have an sc1 front and sc2 rear.
  2. I feel as if I have way more front end grip with them. And when they do slide it is a slow progressive slide, not like a gpa which will just kick out in a split second. I did run a set of GPA Pros at mid ohio and it was my first time on the bike so I didnt push hard enough to slide the front or rear. But I missed the feedback that the Supercorsas gave. Speaking of, I do have a new set of GPA pros I need to sell.
  3. I won't go back to the dunlops after running the supercorsa.
  4. The bike was sprung for tuna who weighs 170, and I weigh about 190. I added 2 rounds of preload in the shock and then after bottoming out the forks at summit point I added 2 rounds in the forks as well. I am afraid I am going to need them re sprung over the winter. I will try to get sag setup and see how it does next weekend. Thanks for all the replies.
  5. 2:26 in this is an example of what I was doing. It seemed like if I dumped the clutch it would chatter the rear. Not sure if that is because it's a stock slipper or what. Pardon my pace but it was a cold morning and my 2nd session on the bike. I feel comfortable downshifting like that because I feel like my braking is more consistent which helps me judge if I can brake later or not. I had just done some reading and it seemed like most still blipped the throttle even with a slipper.
  6. My new to me bike has a slipper clutch. My first day at mid ohio I was just letting the clutch out slowly between gear changes. But I am starting to think I should have also blipped the throttle. How does everyone else downshift with a slipper?
  7. Got to try it out last weekend, but not on a bike. http://youtu.be/4tQDVl_a0gM?list=UU2D3Fw9PBesjbw91oLAqKVw http://youtu.be/DdcZEqTQePM?list=UU2D3Fw9PBesjbw91oLAqKVw Worked out pretty well.
  8. If you add up your costs and you are looking at like 1500 or 2000 in mods, I would honestly just buy a bike that is already setup and sell yours to offset some of the cost.
  9. Quick shifters are pretty bad ass. Something else you don't need to worry about. Having a slipper clutch has helped me under braking well.
  10. Another vote for suspension. http://racetech.com/VehicleSearch#genre=2&brand=&model=&year= You can use that to figure out which spring would be best for you. Also if you want to get into the 30s I would get off those q3s and to do a DOT race, one thing you can never have to much of is grip.
  11. Tuna bought it back for his SV. The bike was setup for standard shift and I run GP so I put the annitori from my CBR on the gsxr until my Dynojet pull sensor showed up. Annitori is going back on the CBR for when its new owner picks it up.
  12. Ya, will have to test out the different quick shifter and lap timer on saturday. One lap race around dogwood circle.
  13. Nice meeting everyone. Looks like I should have stayed another hour.
  14. Il be there. Weather looks dry until the afternoon.
  15. Ended up ordering one of these today. http://aimsports.com/products/solo/ Hopefully everything will work out with it.
  16. I wonder how it will handle.
  17. We had talked about picking up a new Street Glide earlier in the summer but couldn't make up our minds between a few choices so never picked anything up. Nice bike.
  18. He needs to let the squid flow through him to get comfortable on the gixxer.
  19. Good to hear, see you there John!
  20. There is some video of what I think was the last session before lunch.
  21. Anyone have any experience with something like this? http://www.speedangle.com/ Seems like it would be beneficial to see some of this information and know where you can pick up some time. Or is there something cheaper/better out there?
  22. Whoops, guess it was the 7th.
