  3. I think there are two of us heading down for the first track day at NCM. Anyone else interested in going?
  4. This was originally a street bike which I crashed on the track and turned into a track bike. Clean title 8158 miles Annatori Quick shifter Vortex 45 rear sprocket Vortex 15 front sprocket 520 Chain conversion Yoshi RS-5 slip on Vortex Rear sets Woodcraft Clip ons Racetech springs "200lb rider" Armour Bodies plastics Scotts steering damper Stainless front brake lines Woodcraft frame sliders Rear spools Was low sided on track plastics once but damage is pretty minimal. Looking to get 4000 obo. Also would trade + cash for a newer 600/1000 track bike with full suspension. Bike runs great, I have no need to get rid of it. Just looking for an upgrade/something different.
  5. I'm probably out for the weekend. Trying to plan my month but if I have $ left over Il be there.
  6. Should have worked a free track day into the deal.
  7. Alot of careers only care about the degree and not even what its in. My wife for instance went to school for exercise phys so that she could go for physical therapy. She graduated with that degree but changed her mind on being a physical therapist. Worked at a doctors office at the time and was able to get a referral to be a pharmaceutical sales rep. All they cared about was that she had a 4 year degree, that being said thats not a typical situation to get a job like that. She had experience working in a doctors office and also knew medical terms from her schooling that she could use in the pharma job, just all fell into place I suppose.
  8. I went to a 2 year school for IT and graduated, then planned on going to finish my bachelors while I worked full time with my associates. I have a decent amount of student loan debt but nothing crazy. Some things came up in life and I stopped finishing my bachelors but landed a job at a fortune 500 company and worked with my associates degree. I have been here for 5 years or so and worked my way up into an engineering role and make pretty decent money for being in IT, especially with a 2 year degree. This field seems to be one where they dont really care where you went to school, or what degree you have as long as you know your shit. I still havent finished my bachelors and if I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have even started the degree to eliminate most of my student loan debt.
  9. I may be out for this now. My friend I was going to go with is not going to be able to figure out if he is off of work for awhile and im afraid it will be sold out at that point.
  10. I would like to know as well. I changed my bp and would like to see how it looked.
  11. Mid ohio 7/18/14 1pm: Here is another intermediate session. Probably got most of the group in here somewhere.
  12. Session from yesterday towards the end of the day.
  13. If we can get a few others to go id love to go for the weekend.
  14. f..... for $99 I might be making the trip.
  15. Has anyone done any consolidation before? Who was it through?
  16. Haha I have only put 3 sessions in on this track. I have much to learn.
  17. Signed up in I for the Friday track day.
  18. I am going to go on which ever day has the better forecast for the track days. Will probably miss out on the AMA races.
  19. There are really some great roads about a half hour south of us.
  20. Welcome, you are about 10 minutes from me!
  21. I should be good for the middle of August Ryan. Means I might need to skip mid ohio and at least one motoseries event though.
  22. http://www.motorsportspark.org/ I was talking to Rusty at the WERA races on Sunday and he told me about this track opening in Bowling Green later this year. A few of the layouts have a 4000ft straight, track looks like it will be crazy fast. First track day is at the end of October.
  23. One observation that I made is that when I was on stock rear sets I could drag a knee pretty much everywhere on pirc. Once I put on adjustable rear sets I wasent able to drag knee as much. I recently moved them down and forward a bit and it seems as though I can drag easier. But that could also just be in my head. Seems the more compressed your leg is the less you can rotate it away from the bike. Or I r dumb and it's all in my head.
  24. Had a decent Saturday, dropped a half second off my best time and had an oh crap moment coming out of turn 11. Spun up the rear then rolled on a little to much throttle, I had the bars at full left and the bike started to low side but I somehow didn't chop the throttle and rode it out for a second or two which really felt like an eternity then it snapped back and tossed me off the seat. But stayed on and kept going. Probably a long shot but if anyone has any video or pictures of that I'd like to see it. Left around 3 to go home and pack and was on the beach by 3pm yesterday!
