  1. Yeah, I found that suspension page a while back, and it did help me setup my ZX6R......to an extent. But it's best for one size rider and really only helps to get a starting point. Sag adjustments are impossible solo. I think this could be fun and there certainly is enough interest. If someone with the knowledge would be willing to help guys set theirs up, I'm sure we could find a place to do it.
  2. Look forward to it Dizzle. What did you get?
  3. Because ass attainment, though a great reason to ride (and a past-time certainly made easier by riding), is not the only reason to ride.
  4. I'm riding whether by myself or not. Would be cool to have someone else though. I'll see you there at 11 and if it's more than just us, cool. And if not, that's cool too. Just got a new bike so I plan to ride tomorrow either way.
  5. Cool. Do you know where the meet spot is R1?
  6. Nobody in Columbus wants to ride Sunday?
  7. I'm in Newark but I'll travel. I don't know that mine is setup specific to the previous owner at all. I think I need to start at the beginning with mine.
  8. I'd love to get in on this. Maybe we could have a suspension party! I know mine isn't set the way it should be, and it takes at least 2 people to set sag. I'll bring the beer!
  9. I have a practically brand new Galaxy S2 that goes on WalMarts Straight Talk wireless. Pretty sure my mom wants $200 for it if you're interested.
  10. Where should I meet you guys Sunday Docnand what time? Weather looks great. If you want me to put together a route I'd be happy to. Or if you have something in mind that's cool too.
  11. If any of you guys are looking to ride Sunday, post up in my thread titled "call to arms". I'll come North and you guys South and we'll hit some twisties.
  12. Hey Doc, you feel like coming down South and riding Sunday? I have a thread set up for Central.
  13. I'm not a fan of most IPAs, but I thought theirs was ok. I like porters and stouts. And I've had good versions of both there. But none of them compare to the beer from our garden. Earthy, with some subtle nutty notes. Very good. They have paninis for food or they have it worked out with Pizza Cottage to deliver pizzas there. They won't deliver anywhere else in Buckeye Lake.
  14. I haven't seen enough Central rides this year and certainly too few that meet at KFC in Newark, so lets change that. Meet at KFC on Cedar Street (just off of 16) in Newark at 11am. Kick stands at 11:20. Route will be towards McConnelsville and near Burr Oak state park. I'll post exact road numbers before the end of the week, but I can say this: If you haven't ridden these roads, you haven't ridden the best Ohio has to offer. Some of the route was a part of the Epic ride earlier this year, but not all of it. Hope to see a good turnout. We need to show that the Central guys still ride and aren't in it solely for QSL and ass. I said solely for ass, because we all ride partly for ass. See you guys Sunday!
  15. I'm in! See you there on my shiny new toy.

Thanks my friend! I certainly will.
  17. Just as I'm about to join the blue/ white 2000 era GSXR community..... Damn.
  18. I have been using earplugs since I started riding two years ago. I have sensitive ears, which I think is good because for the most part I have good hearing. Anyway, I noticed after w few long rides my ears would ring. It's not that the bike is loud, it's the wind noise from the helmet. I think I'd be better off with a quieter helmet, but I spent $200 on it. How much does one have to spend to get a quiet helmet!? Don't answer that....I'm sure it's probably in the $700 range. Anyway, I never ride without hearing protection now. I consider it part of my ATGATT. And at over 100 decibels, wind noise is no joke. The old timers will tell you to wear them, if they could hear you ask if you should.
  19. I work in Westerville and live near Newark and possibly moving to Mt. Vernon. So Sunbury is on my way home. I'll hit you up here soon and we'll hit some twisties after work.

Yeah, I saw that bike. It's pretty awesome. Also about double what I can spend.

    Like this Triumph? http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/3801888583.html
  22. I'm looking at an 07 with 11k miles for $4000. OPs justification for price is fair, and it's very clean. Someone will probably swoop it up.

Something clean.....not sure what yet. Something newer than 2003 and fuel injected. Would like to go European instead of Japanese, but it has to makes sense in terms of reliability. Found a couple F4i's I like, but I might end up mad I didn't get an RR if I do that. If I could get anything I'd get a 636 that's clean and low miles, but people want way too much for them. So we'll see I guess. You know I'll post it as soon as I get it.
  24. Nice and clean, but I'm finding them almost half that price. The one in particular has only 6k miles more.....though its not in as good condition. GLWS
