  1. http://www.topspeed.com/motorcycles/motorcycle-reviews/bmw/bmw-r-ninet-ar160788.html Pretty good engine numbers and looks like a decent suspension as well..Some teaser vids on YouTube.
  2. I happen to own one of those barges.
  3. Dress up pretty and hit up a local new car dealer. Find a young salesman and give him a sob story. Tell him all about the free advertising. Just a thought.
  4. Man you guys are killin me. I ain't feelin da love Bubbies.
  5. I really was looking forward to the new FZ-09. Was in fact checking one over on Saturday. Don't think it will work for me. It feels really small and don't dig the upright seating position. Just did not excite me as I had hoped. Has less torque than my Hawk as well. Not that I use all that I have now but I would rather not go backwards. HP is about the same.
  6. Pretty much the butt/foot dyno for me as well. Shifting on both the Wing and Super Hawk start getting knotchy around 3500 miles. I could not get myself to go 8K. Some where around 4K I dump it. The only true way to know is with an oil analysis. I myself won't get that anal about it.
  7. Speed safely guys. Would like to ride with you again Dave. Think I'm gonna two up with wife today on the whale.
  8. http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/ Here is just one forum that is out there. Do take time and read what the people in the business have to say about it. The good and the bad. Do yourself a huge favor and research your options. I'm not a driver but have been around them and in trucking for damn near 40 years. Starting out new with no experience is going to be very hard. You are going to basically starve. I take it that you don't have a class a cdl yet?? So now your going to have to go to school and pay for that. Some companies have their own schools and will train you. But you are under contract with them for a time and will be their slave till your time is up. Quit early and you could owe them a chunk of change to pay for the training they provided. Some companies will send you to an accredited school with same scenario as above. Otr trucking is a tough job. Especially if you have a family. You no longer put in 8-10 hours and go home to the family. You put in 10,12,14hrs and then sit in a truck stop, rest area or any other place for 10 hours so you can go back to driving. Even when you get the chance to move up to a better company you will be a bottom feeder and not get the better runs and miles. Is there money to be made. Absolutely. I am with an LTL company and our senior drivers are at six digits for the year. Home every day and weekends. But they put in 12-14 hours every work day. The pay does trickle down from there depending on if you city peddle or just work the dock. You are just gonna have to pay some dues first. Like I said. Do some major homework. Go to some truck stops and talk to some drivers. You'll get real life info not what company recruiters will tell you. Not saying they are back alley used car salesman but close. After you get your cdl and some experience then you can start writing your own ticket. Search the web for other forums and start reading what is going on out there. Educate yourself as much as possible so when things aren't so rosy you won't be as surprised. I wish I could be of more help. The best of luck in what ever you decide.
  9. http://www.700wlw.com/pages/onair_willie.html Any relation to your mail person? That is just plain stupid.
  10. No more excuses Tim. You need to start coming to the show.
  11. http://www.dnainfo.com/new-york/20130930/washington-heights/family-suv-attacked-by-bikers-after-chase-on-henry-hudson-cops-say Here is another story.
  12. http://nypost.com/2013/09/30/bikers-attack-suv-after-driver-rams-riders/ Here is the story that was in the Post.
  13. I was unaware of the three wheeled version. He was correct. I've had humble pie with my coffee this morning.
  14. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/videos/2013/September/sep0413-video-yamaha-mt09/ Sounds like they have skimped on the suspension as some have predicated.
  15. Bad example. The Isetta is actually a 4wheeled vehicle.
  16. You seem to be under the assumption that three wheel vehicles are ill handling. In all actuality they can surpass 4 wheeled vehicles in the handling department. It all comes down to design and engineering. A corvette and suburban are both 4 wheeled vehicles but one will out handle the other by design. The same can bee said for 3 wheelers. A t-Rex and Harley Tri-Glide are both 3 wheelers but one is defiantly the better handler. Being in the Gold Wing community almost 20 years now I have known several people that have triked out their wings. Why? Because they they did not want to give up that feeling of I guess the term is In The Wind. I have ridden a few and they don't handle that bad when set up properly. Each to his own. People put thousands of miles on trikes without issues.
  17. In the shoe pic it looks like a piece of something under and to the left of the axle. Pull the shoes and see if something may be on the other side. How about axle end play. The forward spring looks to have a shiny spot on it.

    Ios7

Has anyone tried to post YouTube vids? Both phone and iPad have issues. Copy link>paste>preview and it does not show up. Got it to work once with phone. Never had a problem before update.
  19. Crap!! Link won't post. Never had trouble posting before. Ios7 update fail??
  20. My bet its the battery. I have had a couple Yuasa batteries do that. All is well...Hit the start button and pop goes the weasel. Same symptoms as well.
  21. Sorry but I'm gonna have to call a douche move on your part. At 2 sec you start your lane change...she has turn signal on...at 3 seconds your in the other lane....at 4 seconds she is coming over. As fast as that happened you were probably still in the other lane when she did a mirror check. You should have read that turn signal better. You should know by now if someone does use a turn signal it does not mean let me over. It means look out I'm coming over. If she would not have been using her signal you may have a legal bitch. Basically you were not in that lane when she did,if she did a mirror check so she thought the coast was clear.
