Gary Johnson: selected Write In For people saying you'll write in Ron Paul, consider selecting Gary Johnson on the ballot; the reasoning being that a vote for Ron Paul is still counting towards the Republican Party. If you're sick of the Republican Party, writing in Paul isn't going to send that message to the Republican leaders.

What happened with the "liquid metal" rumors?

If I had a desire for this and couldn't readily find it, I would just heatshrink the two cables of appropriate length together. I'm not sure I follow and maybe others won't, but where is the audio connection going?

Wow a lot of places freaked out. I was a senior in highschool. Drafting was 8-10am or so and I read a headline on a news website about a plane hitting the WTC. There wasn't any more info at the time which was just when the first plane struck. I mentioned it to those around me and I thought myself it was just an accident like the Cessna that hit the Empire State Building a few years before. Went to the next class (English) and a few other students/teachers spread the word. The teacher turned on the radio since there wasn't cable out into the modular classrooms. The rest of the day we went to our classes and watched the TV and a little lite discussion about it. The next day was about the same, just discussion / some TV and news. The third day was back to regular classes.

Might be worth waiting to see if there is post-election hysteria again.

I claim independent, leaning towards the right. I'm fiscally conservative and slightly liberal on social issues - I don't believe it is justifiable or even possible to try to legislate morality. I believe people (and businesses) should be free to make their own choices as long as they don't harm others. I think the role of government should primarily be the protection of liberty. I worked with a guy whose wife was electrocuted. Overnight while he was working 3rd shift, the hot water tank malfunctioned and overheated, ruptured and causing a short tripping the breaker. His wife apparently woke up and flipped the main breaker back on while standing in the shallow pool covering the basement floor. I can't imagine coming home to discover that.

Chipotle isn't franchised. All locations are company owned, built, and managed. But anyway: Restaurants are pretty high risk, but being a franchise lowers that somewhat. You'll need a lot of capital ($75k-$100k) before a franchise will even consider helping you. Lack of experience will also hinder you. If you're really serious about it, look up how to do market analysis and business plan so you can form a portfolio to demonstrate the validity of opening a new franchise location.
