Knock the video card down as you'll only be using 2D acceleration, you still want a dedicated video though as integrated ones can rob from the CPU and RAM, which you will want to concentrate on the picture editing. Re-appropriate that money into SSD(s) for system and photographic editing use, while storing/backing up the finished pictures on the 1TB drive. If you're still leery of SSDs, replace that WD500GB drive with 150GB WD Raptors.

I agree about Chick-fil-a but those waffle fries are only that good after they were just fried. If you get old, soggy ones they are pretty damn bad. Best to go when Chick-fil-a is busy... my rule is to only order waffle fries if I had to wait in line.

I've read it beats the Evo in speed tests, at least unrooted. Also, the speed doesn't really seem to matter, when would you actually need it? I don't care about bragging rights. I can not stand touchscreen typing so I opted for the keyboard. I prefer the smaller size including the screen. I wouldn't want a phone any larger than this one.

Any info, links you could give on doing that? I've never been interested in smartphones, but I liked the Shift because it's not huge brick.

I doubt it would work, due to the RENESIS engine not having much in common with a V6. If you're going to put that much work into it, why half-ass it? (3/4 ass it really) I'm saying to drop a V8 in it if you are going to go through the trouble of swapping.

Damn. Anyway, my post was more in jest than anything else, lol. I would say it is likely either fake/post-processing editing, or maybe a a small helicopter UAV. Israel is fond of their UAVs and innovating them further. Could be a hybrid of both theories, perhaps the guys were filming what they thought was a UFO from a distance and reacted as such, but when it got closer they found it was a UAV device, however, they figured their initial reactions, and the footage, was genuine enough to create a convincing UFO video with a little bit of editing. I'm an open minded skeptic. I weigh the probabilities of conceivable possibilities for explanations and that gives me much bias against believing that UFOs visit the earth.

My phone failing was no fault of Verizon, it actually has been nearly flawless since I've had it. I stated that my phone literally went to piss because I knocked it off the towel rack into the toilet, right after I took a good 90 second morning piss. I meant to grab the phone and flush the toilet on my way out. I can't call Verizon as my phone doesn't receive any signal. It was a basic voice & crappy text phone, that was free with contract - so I don't care about it. Verizon has changed their policies lately. They are (quickly) phasing out NewEvery2, txting is only unlimited with other Verizon phones now, all comparable plans have increased in price / or have less features for the same price, etc. I sent and received over 2000 txts last month with out of network phones. I'm not paying an increase of $20/month to retain that service. Verizon seems to me to be adopting policies and prices that are less consumer friendly, and more about trapping business. None of the new phones Verizon carries are that attractive to me, either. I discovered I'll get a heftier discount with Sprint through being an Alliant credit union member. Verizon's signal isn't that consistent in Cincinnati, and from what I've asked people that have Sprint, it seems to be more consistent.

Definitely have it professionally done. A poor bluing job looks horrible. A good bluing takes precise concentrations and consistent temperature as well as proper surface preparation.

Anyway I understand from this thread that it is impossible to activate a new device without changing plans.... and all of Verizon's new plans BLOW compared to what I had. I think I am going to switch over to Sprint, and have a smaller bill yet more features. Fuck Verizon. I don't see where to cancel service on Verizon's website though. Does anyone else know how to do so online? EDIT: I searched more and found out that you can only cancel service through a CS call. However, sending a number port request from another carrier will terminate service as well, so bye bye Verizon.

Cat food makes really good raccoon bait. They can't resist it. I tried fruit and peanut butter and other things. Caught 1 or 2 and then the others avoided the trap. I put catfood in it and caught 1 raccoon nightly (4/5 nights about). Caught over 20 all together in about a month.

What is there to ask about? Seems simple to me: 1) Grab a knife. 2) Head out into the woods. If you really want to feel a rush, go out to the Rockies and knife fight a bear.

Federal laws trumping State laws, with regards to firearms, were thinking of the DC vs. Heller ruling. Though since DC isn't technically a state, the ruling wasn't all encompassing of every other such laws.

I've wondered if you could take one of those and put a small block of wood in the bottom, under the spring, so that the magazine could only hold 30 rounds - would that then make it legal? The idea is from 8 round tube feed shotguns being sold in states that only allow 5 rounds... all the manufactures do is stick a dowel rod in the tube magazine.
