Any chance of anyone having some Dzus pro fastners laying around I borrow(or buy) for saturday? Picked up some bodywork with the springs installed for the dzus pro's, but no fasteners.

If it is an action camera that you use to capture rides, buy a couple extra batteries and forget about charging while riding. Nice thing about extra batteries, no worry about charging, instant switch out so the filming is pretty much continuous, and you can loan the batteries out if someone else has the same style camera. Knock off gopro batteries are 2 for $20 on amazon.....probably even cheaper on ebay.

I have a static balancer.....and in a bind I've used the axles to static balance. Just have to be observant of the drag from the seals and have a lot more balance trails vs a static bearing balancer. I just tried the bike pump for shits and giggles, a new tire I wouldn't even bother trying.

well, I just flipped my q2 so hopefully it will be dry on saturday; I'll have to bring my Michelin road 2 just in case.....really don't want to try a reversed street tire in the rain. Amazingly I set the bead with a bicycle floor pump I picked up for small pressure adjustments at the track(thanks for the idea Mark!) Never flipped a tire, but I guess having the tire pre-formed to the correct shape helped seal the bead up and make it easy.

Patchwork, bumpier surface, colder temps, more shady areas, what I've read abt drainage. Basically its not as consistent....that being said, its not like I would push in the rain.

Pirc was fun in the wet even with street tires. Idk if I'd trust Nelson's surface as much as pirc though.

Was saying last weeks low the night before was 47; actually in Garrettsville it was 44. The worst part was the wet grass and soaking wet feet in the the morning, but after the gear was on it wasn't too bad. Hopefully it turns around, because right now it seems like the % of rain is going up

I'll be waiting till closer to make up my mind. Last monday was 64/47 and it wasn't bad other than unloading in the morning.

Didn't make the ride but my reasoning would be: I like to ride. It was a chance to meet others who like to ride. Why not?

miss-typed title, 04-05 model year Wanting to see what is out there.... I've got fiberglass and resin, so a little rough is OK as long as the pieces are there. Might even be willing to trade stock components for track plastics+cash if someone was interested.
