  1. Found this while looking up the rules about collector plates.... Specialty Plates Does anyone know if this means you can make your own logo (within reason) and have it put on your plate? Under special interest group? Maybe a car club or forum logo?
  2. Just told my Dad about these. He has a TON of models and always looking for old kits. I will let you know as soon as he responds.

  5. for some reason it tells me I am running an old insecure version of firefox and I am running the most current release (not counting betas)
  6. Dist and coil and clutch for $400? Will it work with a B18C5?
  7. cap rotor wires and plugs, still no go throw in a coil and not only would you have a great car, you would be getting better mpg. if you dont want it let me know, I am interested.
  8. Edmunds says $1318 Nada says $775-$2775 for a 92 KBB $850-$1480 If it is clean and unmolested I would say $1500-$2000 is fair.
  9. LKQ Tripletts has one for $925.00
  10. Find an 86-87 Honda CRX HF with a 5 speed. AWESOME mileage, weighs in at a massive 1713lbs. If you ever decide you need more power swap motors and still get good mpg.

Where can you get Duramix (specifically 4040)? I tried to find it and everyone I asked had no clue what I was talking about.
  12. It is not long term storage. It will be about 5 hours in the late evening at a time. It is pretty much like when anyone else would go to work. However, I would not have chose a car like this as my DD if I lived or worked in the area I will be parking in. I am working on relocating a couple of easy break in pieces on the car and adding to the factory alarm and some manual switches for fuel etc.

  14. Take a cup of your water to Aquarium Adventure and have it tested. I think Jack's does it too.
  15. It is a Honda. However it is MY Honda. To top it off, it is a hard to replace Honda that I have put MY time and MY money into. Why don't you just let someone have you VeeDub and quit worrying about it?
  16. Hence why I said slow them down. I know all it takes is a rollback and to tell anyone questioning that it is a repo. Insurance will not even think of covering all of the stuff put on/into the car. Plus the hassle of trying to get home late at night and getting to work the next day is not desired.
  17. Anyone have experience with this? Any good websites or information sources? My car is on many top stolen lists and in the near future I will be leaving it in Columbus in a parking lot in the evenings and am growing a little more paranoid. I am hoping to make it a little bit harder to take or at least make it take longer so something might be noticed.
  18. I HATE my crawl space. It is just big enough that you should have no problem getting to stuff. However, it is just small enough the only thing that can easily get in there are the neighborhood cats and raccoons. I actually had one get in through a loose vent, find a space to crawl up the wall and get stuck in between my first and second floors resulting in me having to tear out a piece of cieling to get it out. Anytime I have to work in the crawl space it is an all day job and usually requires one in the crawl space and one up above. Once you are in sucks to get out so you'd rather belly crawl to the hole and ask for tools, parts, etc. then fight your way in and out. I constantly debate about digging it out and making a full basement. In my mind it is such a waste of space. It also provides a super cooling area for all the duct work and piping. It is the first house I have had with a crawl (have had slab and full before) and it is the first house that I have had frozen pipes.
  19. If you use Firefox, add PriceBlink for an add-on. It checks whatever site you are on for coupons.
