Well lets date myself a little, because I was playing the original Doom and the original Need 4 Speed when they first came out. Thats about the time my parents first bought a decent computer, a whopping 75mHz pentium, and about the last time I was into computer gaming. I can't see how some of you put in so much effort and time into getting good at a game and eventually beating it. I seems to me that gaming has become more of a hobby then something to have fun with once in a while.

Lols, haven't seen this yet. You can bet if i get one without pads, its getting everything replaced. This is about as stupid as them leaving bolts out of the steering shaft on the Cruize, or having the shift cable fall out of the Malibu because of missing/broken clips. This isn't the first time.

We have a guy that does most all the trim work, so I don't do much inside most cars. Everything I do is mostly drivability and maint, with the random recalls and bullshit thrown in. One of the other guys fucked his back up after he tore down an Outlook to do the trans, guess who got to figure out where he put everything? That is what got on my nerves today, I could've done the whole job in the time it took me to find everything.

I like my job, I'm making money and don't really have much to bitch about. Consider this a fuck GM's R/V bodied vehicles thread. They are a PITA.

I agree, just seems like all I've done this week. That and replaced some junk active fuel management lifters. I just felt like bitching, and reminding everyone that these cars suck.

I know of one that was bought back, and yes I get paid less for warranty. Usually it isn't bad doing warranty work, there just isn't any good ways to get some of this shit off the car. In order to get the timing cover off the engine has to come out. There will be lots of aftermarket companies sending people to the dealer when the warranty is up because a lot of shops will shy away from these.

I'm so sick of working on these big peices of shit. Just this week, I've done wheel bearings, a transmission, a steering rack, 2 power steering pumps, 5-6 recalls for airbags and headlights, and right now I'm fucking with the parking assist bullshit that GM gives next to nothing for info on how to diagnose. There are 2 others in the shop right now that other techs are working on, one timing chain, and another transmission. These things are junk, don't buy them. Its not like they are easy to fix either, and god forbid it's all wheel drive because that just makes it harder. I look forward to these all being out of warranty so I can actually make money on these. /rant, have a nice day.

The only thing I liked about Michigan, was the drivers. As soon as I crossed into Michigan I had to get out of the fast lane. It was awesome how everybody kept moving, and when I did come up on slower traffic they about wrecked their car to get out of the way. What the fuck goes through people's heads around here I'll never know.
