  1. No I actually meant his mother. She has a smaller yard and uses a riding mower. Nobody push mows in that family.
  2. Your Mom spoiled you with the riding mower huh? Looks cool, I guess since you drive that grandpa car you need some excitment in your life. I bet your car and mower have about the same power to weight ratio.
  3. That's cool, just not something I've been exposed to. What are jobs like that usually called? Good places to find stuff like that? I'll have to look into that further.
  4. ?? Idk anything about getting a job like that, care to inform?
  5. To be honest it likely the diff, I wouldn't wish that job on any of my friends so I'm not giving you names. Just take it to your closest dealer and complain until they do something about it.
  6. That's a pretty neat place to have a shop. I bet you couldn't get permits to have an automotive shop underground these days, even if some engineers ensured no cave-ins, the chemicals and gases would ensure how bad of an idea that is. Still a cool shop in my opinion.
  7. I thought about talking to Dozzer, but he works on more diesels then I want to. So I'm sure I'd be wasting his time.
  8. Two things with that, the schedule they have me on at Jeg's doesn't leave me much time to pound the pavement about a job let alone side work, and two I still be working at Jeg's on the phone. Cars is what I know, there aren't many choices that aren't wrenching that's why I tried Jeg's in the first place. I miss fixing problems, diagnosis was my favorite thing to do because when it works right again it's very satisfying.
  9. I tried, it's a good job with nice people just not for me.
  10. I'd prefer a GM dealer, not going back to Lash or Dave Gill. I miss working on cars. Yes my back hurts, but it's doable. I have all but 2 GM certs, ASE master with A1-A9 and L1. Drivability and electrical are my strong points, but I do everything including hybrids. I have a few tickets on my license so if the company is strict it won't work. Worst case I'll stay at Jeg's as it is a nice place, but I'm not happy sitting at a desk. I might consider other positions but all my experience is being the tech.
  11. Having worked out in Johnstown for more then 2 years I have been to all the above places, all were pretty good in my opinion. I don't know of anything else out that way really. Andy was accurate in his description, a few nice expensive places, a couple bars, and fast food. It's not a great area for those type things. I'd be looking around Easton and Hamilton Rd, it really isn't too far and you are likely to find something in that area.
  12. Make sure everything is in good order, ie nothing is dragging. Try getting it around 35 or so and popping it in neutral, see how well it rolls. Not sure you'll find anything. You'll likely have to deal with lame gas mileage on an older 4x4.
  13. Bill Murray for President Rush Limbaugh for vice president Number 1 because funny, number 2 because I'm a conservative. Suck it.
  14. My tolerance for shit has been really low lately. I'm sorry I didn't stick around for a little while, but as soon as I pulled onto the lot I realized it was a mess.
  15. Thanks guys. Paul is dislexic, I'm 35.
  16. Replied, panhard bar sold. Someone come get this 10-bolt out my way.
  17. I sure as fuck won't vote for Hilary, I'd vote for just about anyone else. I don't know what kind of a job Trump could do, but I really like the fact that he's not been a politician for most of his career. I'll take my chances and vote for Trump. There will be far to many welfare recipiants, government sucking, worthless people to cancel out my vote anyway.
  18. Must of been tired, thought i was looking at the Camaro.

  20. Torque arm sold. LCAs $50 Panhard Rod $50
  21. Yeah I having read anything good about QA1, really just about the same cost as Vikings if I buy them through work. I guess it comes down to if I want more of a handling shock, ie Koni, or drag race shock, ie Viking. There seems to be some differing in opinion around the internet on how much of a "handling" shock the Viking is. Seems to me that the Koni is a better street shock. Has anybody actually used either of these? on anything?
