  1. Well if you pull the handle halfway it let's air out, all the way puts it in. Came with 2 different ends whether you want a dual foot chuck or a clip-on type. Has a nice digital display and can be read in psi, bar, or kpa.
  2. Still strikes me as a Mustang, it's not a huge departure if you ask me.
  3. So this thread made me ask my 12 year old daughter, her response "I can't say because mommy will be mad." Although I take her racing, she gets into it with me and since most of my life revolves around cars I think she may feel like she'll disappoint me if she's not interested. I hope that's not the case, but. I'll let her do what she wants. She has been such a great kid so if she keeps up her good work I'll let her her do whatever she wants. As to cars being too complicated for people to work on, I'll agree that a lot is no harder then it has ever been. However there are many complicated systems that are quite difficult to diagnos without the right tools and know how. I would love to see a shadetree mechanic fix communication problems, or even understand how certain sensors are supposed to function. I think most of the difficult mentality came about with OBD1 and the early distributorless ignition systems that were a lot harder to diag then looking at a scan tool.
  4. I have a Blue Point (Snap-on) that was about $125 iirc, works great, very accurate. Had a basic metal one from NAPA for 5 years or so, never super accurate but it worked, still use it at home.
  5. While I really like Pontiacs I can see why it was killed off. Obviously Hummer and Saab were always losers under GM's control, Saturn was going downhill and really shared all it's models with the rest of GM by the end same as Pontiac. Buick was positioned better with more up to date vehicle components. GMC, while you can make the arguement for merging into Chevy, has always been a big part of the medium duty truck market and has the infastructure in place for it. I personally felt the same way when Pontiac got the axe as most of you. It's too bad they let the brand get somewhat stale by basically rebadging other GMs even though most of us liked the styling difference. I still like Oldsmobile and would have liked to see them stay around to develop a few of their cars and engines that were unique. The cars I really miss is the G8, Solstice, Firebird, GTO, and Grand Prix. I also would've loved to see the stillborn G8 based Ute hit the streets. These were great performing cars, most were RWD and they were all fun to drive. The Chevy SS is no real replacement being limited numbers and overpriced. The Camaro is a decent car somewhere between the old 4th gen and the GTO, but it lacks the Pontiac flare. Oh well can't control what the masses want to buy, and some pencil pushers decided that what we have now is what would get GM to thrive. So far it's not horrible.

Okay so about 13 years ago we got a basic washer and dryer, this past week the washer decided it doesn't want to work very well, I think the motor is about done. The dryer still works fine. Decided to buy a new set so if someone wants to come take these away, please you can have them. If you want me to throw them in my truck and bring them to you $20 in a reasonable distance. Located in Blacklick, PM if intersted. If nobody wants these where can I get rid of them?
  8. Are you sure the e-bay pumps don't require you to disassemble the sending unit and just replace the pump? OEM pump would be the whole sending unit assembly.
  9. Either air in the system, or a partially plugged heater core will cause this. Check for coolant leaks, take the hoses off the heater core and flush water back and forth through it, and retry. There have been times I've had to replace a heater core because it got so plugged, but thats far from normal. Typically its leaking somewhere, seeing as it's a Dodge make sure there isn't coolant in the oil (depending on engine) and check the water pump (driven off the timing belt on a lot of Dodges). Good luck.
  10. What kind of worthless bitch grabs a child's junk with intent to harm? Thats worse then molesting the kid. May I suggest we hang this bitch upside down from a meat hook shoved through her pussy and then electricute her through said meat hook.
  11. Yet another example of us going out of state to pick up something car related. Chad really found a nice example, it's gettign harder to find nice Fieros and this thing is in really good shape. A couple small flaws aside it really only needs some maintenance work done.
  12. Okay a little update, as of today I'm done with Byers. I wish there was more options for Mazda in this town as they are nice cars and I don't mind working on them. Subarus I could honestly care less about, easy to work on, but very boring. The crew there are great, but it didn't work out very well for me. I will be starting at Lash Chevrolet in Johnstown monday. Obviously it's a brand that I do like and care about. I'm excited to see how this dealership works out. If nothing else its 15 minutes from home, and only open monday through friday. So no more late nights or weekends. Their shop has been through a few service managers in recent years, but the people I've met seem cool so I've got my fingers crossed.
  13. +1 for a brake fluid flush, def worth doing if its starting to feel soft. Never used EBC, but I'm sure they compare to most street performance pads. I have some Hawk HPS on the Camaro, they work fine. Be mindful when turning rotors, the thinner they are the easier they can warp. I am not a fan of turning my rotors, I tend to warp them by beating the shit out of my stuff. I advise most customers the same, if they have a habit of wearing pads out quickly chances are they warp their rotors easier then most.

    GM VIS

I will have my GM access back very soon.
  15. You can always rotate the wheels to make sure it doesn't move. What kind of shape is the CV axle in, boot ripped, loosing grease? Sounds like an axle is a good possibility.
  16. So you're moving to Alaska? Maybe you could watch Russia for us.
  17. And how are you testing it for Amps? 4.9 loaded and unloaded just makes me question how you are coming to that. If there is only a 4.9 amp load that's all you're going to read. Batteries are much easier to have issues with, and depending on the car's use can be very hard on a battery. Not saying its a battery but I would double check the alternator, maybe have it bench tested.
  18. I'd get a mild cam, headers, and bolt-ons. For a CTS-V to cruise around in and have a little fun with, that would be my first choice. Or you can go a step further and pull your stock heads, send them to Advanced Inductions and buy one of their matched cams. However there are lots of possiblities, and you'll get a million suggestions. Good luck.
  19. Benner makes me picture him turning into Al Bundy sometime in the near future, about the time that Cruze looks like shit from having kids. RIP BENNER.
  20. Rain at my house this morning, snow at work around Sawmill, and a bunch of idiot drivers making the traffic worse then normal. Snow is fine, winter time driving with the other idiots on the road is a complete fail. Would be a bunch of happy Subaru owners posting here, you guys are all a bunch of granola eating weirdos.
  21. Well some so called experts on something they have never used :dumb: Proper tuning and safe horsepower goals are what most people miss when they set up nitrous, then they go around bitching about how bad it is. Sounds like our government.
  22. A faulty balljoint my ass! Looks like the threads are there to me, and the ball didn't break out of the socket. Please post the shop specifically so others don't go there.
