  1. I got a GoPro Hero4 from the wife for Christmas and pumped to try it out next riding season!
  2. ^Absolutely not always the case. Rule of thumb is to not carry in a church. I spoke to my pastor and he said they allow it, so I carry in my church along with a few other individuals. It is up to the church denomination to determine whether they allow CCW or not. If you don't know, I would just ask for permission.
  3. If anyone is interested, all I can say is this guy takes care of his stuff and you won't be disappointed. Good price too!
  4. Great video for this time of year. We rode 78 on our last ride and it is awesome with the new pavement. Looking forward to carving those turns in the spring!
  5. +2 on the No Mar. Wouldn't waste my money on a HF. Get the NoMar kit and it will come with the gravity balancer.
  6. Really glad to hear you are ok Jacob. It sounds a lot like my wreck. Was doing a normal pace around 55 and just got caught out by gravel in a turn. Also glad to hear you had all your gear on. My gear saved my back when I hit a tree. I will always ride in full gear, no matter how hot it might be outside. Good luck on finding a new ride! You could always do the Ninjadoc guess the bike thread when you get your new ride!
  7. Yeah, haven't you heard it is self cleaning so you never need to change it!!
  8. You would have to be James Bond to outrun a helicopter! Just not going to happen!
  9. Just finished mine tonight. New oil and filter, washed and detailed, cleaned and lubed the chain, sea foam in the tank and battery tender hooked up. Another season of riding in the books!
  10. That's crazy! Back woods hillbilly who thinks he owns the road. The dude even admits to swerving to hit them then says he doesn't care?.. What a piece of shit! Speedy recovery to those folks and I hope that hillbilly rots in prison!
  11. Gotta go with my grandfathers trick with dish soap. Squirt a generous amount of dish soap into a open container and put some water in. Slowly mix, you don't want suds. Use a small paint brush and run it around the beads and the valve stem. Leak will blow up a large bubble. Works every time! That's how I found a small nail in one of my tires.
  12. I'm in! Can't have enough riding t-shirts!
  13. Might need to get one of these. The motorcycle and tractor have pigtails on them for the trickle charger. It is a quick way to see where the battery is at.
  14. I always wondered why so many motorcycle tanks have dents in them. Duh!
  15. Congrats on the new purchase Doc! Glad to see you have a new set of wheels in your garage. It would have been hell to go through winter without a bike in the stable!
  16. I never put my bike in neutral while riding unless absolutely necessary. At a light I am always in first gear with the clutch pulled in. Once in a while if I need a stretch, I will put the bike in neutral and stretch my arms, other than that I am always in gear.
  17. I use the key like most of everyone on here. I never leave it in gear, always neutral when I park. When I get gas, I use the center stand so I know I am packing it full of fuel, other than that, I usually use the side stand. The only time I use the side stand to kill my bike is for its intended purpose, when I am trying to put it into gear to go and I forget to put it up. Never used the kill switch, don't see a need for it unless the bike goes down and is still running.
  18. Welcome to the OR show!
  19. You are in the Columbus area, go to the Iron Pony and try on a bunch. They have all the different manufacturers available to try out. +1 for Shoei. I got the best fit for my melon with a Shoei GT Air. You will be throwing some coin out for a Shoei, but it is worth it. I paid about $500 for mine. It is quiet, comfortable, has PIN Lock and the integrated sun visor.
  20. That was amazing to see. That dude definitely pulled her in. I don't think I would have picked her up so fast, she was obviously a little stunned. It was raining quite hard and you can see a line of solid water crossing the road when he lost control. I am going to say he must have hydroplaned.
