    Thanks for sharing the video.

I'm heading down there to ride 9/3 and 9/4. It's been over 20 years since I've been there trail riding.

Got a question, are there any single track trails? If so what staging area would get me to  tight stuff?  Was going to try the Hatfield and McCoy trails but what I saw online is a parade of UTV's. I've got a hall pass for Labor Day so need to go riding somewhere.

Wayne NF:  http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5361258.pdf    Park at Monday Creek Trail Head and ride the Long Ridge Trail system for the single track. You will be done with Long Ridge Trail in 2.5-3.0 hrs. Then you can ride the main to Dorr run and hope you don't meet your end on one of the blind turns. . Be advised the rest of Wayne on weekends is a Quad/Side by side fest.

Not sure where you got your info on H&M trail system but there is so much two wheel riding and single track to ride for multiple day's of riding.

I would never pass up a Hatfield/McCoy trip for Wayne. There is absolute NO comparison. Ride Buffalo Mtn. down at Matewan has the singletrack to meet your needs plus Matewan is a cool town and everyone is friendly and helpful.

Here is some Adv Bike stuff from Matewan Stolen Pig Rally:http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/stolen-pig-rally-matewan-wv-apr-27-may-1-2016.1102774/

    Good Luck, B.

  3. Wayne trail is getting worn as the end of the season approaches. Monday was a great day to be hustling a 500lb beast thru the woods with 77deg temps and no traffic. Lots of stone and 1" gravel mixed in with deep two track ruts. some areas had water and mud to keep thing interesting. It's all good training and fun.

Hello everyone. I recently moved back to Ohio after being in the Navy for a while. I have a 2016 R1200GS ADV, does anybody know of a reputable BMW service shop I can get the service done at? I'm located in Ashland County. I am about an hour from both Cleveland and Columbus. I don't mind traveling for a good service shop.

Welcome back, Once you get bike serviced and sorted keep in mind of a upcoming event. http://www.wailinwayneweekend.com/

    See Ya, Brian

  5. Do you ever get down to WNF New Straitsville area to ride the trails on your Raptor. If you do I would be interested in this item. If you dont find a buyer and get down this way let me know.

    Brian

  6. Jim, I have a 2013 Kaw Z1000 and a 2014 Suzuki DL1000 Adv. You are welcome to ride down here to Hocking Hills on your couch and we can take them both out for a ride and this will give you a little information on your next choice of bikes. You may be surprised how versatile the V-Strom is. Both have been upgraded and breathed on slightly but only for comfort and drive-ability. You will have to bring Donuts. PM me for further information if needed.

@B-Mac would you happen to be the gentleman we met this year at MMM? You could occasionally be found a couple of campsites over, stirring a crockpot and telling jokes with an awesome group of guys at a pop up trailer with small bikes.

Jason, I don't think so. I was camped just inside the camp area to the right across from the entrance check point by the creek. Each night we had a small group gathered around the VW Westfalla you see in the opening photo in the video a few post back.with a small fire.We were laughing and joking around constantly. What a great time with a great group of mixed riders.

    B.

  8. Jacob. Thanks for letting me filter in at 93/83. I had a great ride leaving Hocking Hills at 0830, Only had 3 vehicles to deal with on 78/83 all the way to New Concord and no Deer. Enjoyed the run south with your group to the 550/337 intersection. Going west with you would have put me of the far side of the state with a haul back home. I thought the RSV Driver was going to split ahead and up the pace for awhile since he kept passing you so I was going to join him rather than listen to the two uncorked pipe's back at the rear but I was mistaken. No harm no foul I hope. Anyway I enjoyed the short stint and I hope you all had fun. Nice to meet everyone. 210 Miles.

B-Mac, Monday might be a wash-out for Wayne if the forecast is correct, but we'll see. My TR8/T63 pair came in this week, so I'm hoping to get Jeff's help shoeing them on by then in any case. I could also be free Sunday for another location if you're itching to get some dirt then.

I am out for Sunday. Swing is doing a upper TOT on Sunday, that might help you scrub in the new tires. As Monday draws near the weather might change for the better. We can always do another trail ride some time. I will check back here on Sunday. Ride Safe. B.

  10. If you are camping at Begley's or Willams Campgrounds You should not have any problems. As for the Trail Head Parking areas. They are very nice parking sites but I can't comment on security or any problem with vandals. To me they look like great opportunities for smash and grab punk ass shit heads that roam this area daily. Check with the Dirty Talk Gentlemen. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the Wayne area.

B-Mac I (Scott/Rudderfeet) had the pleasure to ride with you a couple weeks back but it wasn't until I watch a few of your videos did I realize you're a frigging beast with that Strom!

Except now I've got s complaint to register. Your videos have given me such a hard on for Wayne's trails - I've never been - that I can't wait to take my DR out there with a fresh set of knobbies coming Wednesday. Maybe I could beg you into schooling me in the ways of Wayne someday, perhaps even joined by Craig, Jeff and Steve?

I am good for Monday gents. Derek and Joe may join in if that's OK. They may be first timers also we can take it easy and have a safe fun ride. Let me know what's good for you and Scott.

  12. Joe and Derek, I think  Scott (SMccrory) and Jeff both on DR650 want to ride Wayne on Monday. We have not set a time or Start place yet but keep an Eye out for an update. We can start at Bagley campground and do camp ohio first to get warmed up and comfortable and jump on the Maine and head to dorr run. Brian. Early Monday or after 1pm..

Saturday it is!  I'll see ya at Otsego in that little gravel lot at the intersection of 83 and 93 about 10:15-10:30.

Jacob, Is your route going to continue south on 83 to 78. I may try to join in on the fun at New Concord fuel mart 83/22 if your group is not full. Too much dirt and gravel the last two weeks. I need a dose of carbon monoxide and asphalt fumes. No wait.
