  1. If you're struggling with driving a work truck, I would say a day trip on a sport touring bike is gonna be just as bad if not worse. Yes, they are comfortable, but not without some stress on the body.
  2. Today marks 1 year since I started eating healthy and exercising. Down more than 60 pounds, more muscle strength, and I can now run at a decent pace. I got big plans for the winter, hoping to lose some more and also work on more strength training.
  3. Or electronic suspension.
  4. And throw in travel expenses for several trips.
  5. $25k would get you into pretty much any sport touring bike or adventure bike with room for accessories. Both have been considered the swiss army knife of bikes.
  6. Lol, and the Honda shop is directly across the river from 536. Maybe a demo day..... I'll be mainly at the Indian shop in Mineral Wells, WV.
  7. Well, interview went great! Got a great job offer. Put in my 2 weeks notice at my current employer. Looks like I will be the new Marketing Manager at Ohio Valley Indian/All Seasons Powersports Can-Am/Country Roads Ford & Honda. My 2 favorite things, graphic design and motorcycles.
  8. Yeah, he is gonna keep it though, just wants a more serious touring bike.
  9. Went to the dealer today. Dad is most likely going to preorder a Goldwing Tour. $1000 deposit and they said he should have it in January.
  10. Got a job interview tomorrow. Getting some sleep tonight is gonna be rough.
  11. The last two times I've been on trips without "You know who" we didn't have mechanical failures. Too soon?
  12. Can I get a price on a pair of SIDI All Road Goretex Boots?
  13. I'd say we got extremely lucky with the awesome weather we had.
  14. Wow that's a heck of a camera mount setup.
  15. I've rode both within a 2 week period, and I feel like the FZ10 has better wind protection than the FZ1. Europe already has a FZ10 touring model. Not ideal for luggage, but it's possible. Especially for like a 2 or 3 day trip. https://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/products/motorcycles/hyper-naked/mt-10-tourer-edition.aspx?view=featurestechspecs&mode=colors#gallery=color|image=https://cdn.yamaha-motor.eu/product_assets/2017/MT10TE/950-75/2017-Yamaha-MT10-Tourer-Edition-EU-Night-Fluo-Studio-002.jpg
  16. Working on Potato machines today. Got some parts ordered for the FJR, getting ready for major services.
  17. Hmm. That is odd. I just assumed a GT spec would have a higher load rating. I wasn't a fan of the PR4GTs for their price point or shape characteristics. I know it's a pipe dream, but Michelin needs to get their tires in the same price range as Pirelli, Bridgestone, Dunlop to be competitive IMO.
  18. The spec sheet says the Road 5 load rating for a 180/55 is 73, which is the same as a 180/55 PR4GT load rating.
  19. WD40 vapor is probably just as toxic as Winter Air Vs Summer Air.
  20. I do not run a screen protector. The screen looks as good as it did from day 1. I am pretty good with my phone (knock on wood). My coworker had his S7 Edge bust a screen, and I can say its not cheap. $250 going through Samsung. The Spigen case has a raised lip so you can place the phone face down and the screen won't touch. I've always had good luck with Spigen, so I keep buying their cases.
  21. Well seeing that the plug to the regulator was melted, I would say that would warrant a harness replacement?
