  1. OK, so where you going riding tomorrow?
  2. Only gained 2 lbs after the New England trip. Probably gonna hit the gym this weekend and sweat it out.
  3. The real question is where you going riding with it this weekend @Tonik?
  4. You order as many tires as you want, and I'll install them for free, just so we can stop having a damn tire thread.
  5. As an avid Angel GT user, I just went through a set of Roadsmart 3s. I think you will like them. They held their shape the entire life of the tire and stuck just as good as an Angel GT. It was a more aggressive tip in compared to a T30. At 5k miles, the Roadsmart wasn't quite to the wear bars. I had to switch them cause I didn't want to run out of tread on my trip. I bet I could get more than 6k out of a set. For Mileage reference PR4GT (I've ran 1 Set. Fall Gap Trip) Front: 4000 Rear: 7400 T30 EVO GT (On my 2nd Set. WV Trip, New England Trip) Front: 3500 Rear: 3500 Angel GT (Ran 6 or 7 sets on my BMW and FJR) Front:4500 Rear: 4000 RoadSmart 3s (One Set, Ozark Trip)Front: 5000 Rear: 5000 Of course there will always be too many variables. (Road type, Road Temp, Tire Pressure. Bike, Riding Aggressiveness, Riding Style, Bike Load, Suspension Setup, Heat Cycle Count.) The variables are just way too vast to really compare apples to apples.
  6. I'm free this weekend. Let me know when and where and I'll try to be there.
  7. Get to planning that 2017 Fall trip. That's one of my favorite trips.
  8. Officially home. 10 states, 2438 miles, 2 Factory Tours, one historic bridge skywalk, a ferry ride, a mountain summit and countless memories. Another awesome trip is in the books. On to planning the next one.
  9. You can't go wrong with a sport touring tire. They stick just fine and have better wet weather characteristics than a supersport tire. Of course opinions are like assholes. Each tire has it's advantages and disadvantages.
  10. Nova Scotia is definitely on my bucket list. As of right now, Colorado is looking like next year's big trip.
  11. Next time you can be the pivot man. In all seriousness, we do regret not inviting you. It was kind of last minute scheduling and didn't open it up for anyone.
  12. I may be free Saturday. I'll know for sure when I get home tomorrow.
  13. Watch out using that much clear thinking logic. People's heads might explode.
  14. I still need Delaware, Rhode Island and Florida. Delaware is probably gonna happen this fall when I got to Chesapeake bay with my dad. Florida may be an iron butt trip, and Rhode Island is a big question mark.
  15. Just made it to the hotel. 450 miles, made it to Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey. That's it for our newly states visited. A little bit of rain, nothing we couldn't handle. PA sucks for finding beer. I had to ride over to the golf course next door and buy some since gas stations can't sell any. Pizza ordered. Another longer day tomorrow to get home.
  16. +1 On springs. Without proper spring rate, your wasting time.
  17. Yes, we had 2 nights at the resort in Vermont. I have to be back to work for Friday. So Maine was just a day trip today. Heading to PA tomorrow.
  18. Another day down. Mount Washington was the highlight of the trip. Many hours were spent last night looking at weather forecasts and we were planning on bailing on today cause of the chance of rain. Got up this morning and had sunshine all day. Sprinkles for a couple miles at most. Ben and Jerry's was ok, very kid friendly of course. Nothing compared to the Jack Daniels tour we took in June. Going to take a tour of Yuengling tomorrow or Wednesday.
  19. +1 with @jschaf If you're this indecisive on gear, how are you gonna make decisions on the fly while riding? That is more important.
  20. You can figure it out. Just YouTube setting motorcycle sag. You'll find videos from Dave Moss, Traxxion Dynamics, Racetech, etc. Traxxion Dynamics has like a 10 part video series that I found really helpful for all suspension settings.
