Got some more horsepower out of the FJR today. Added some more stickers thanks to @RidersDiscount. My saddlebags sticker collections has made it to the 2nd saddlebag now.

This is the one part I wasn't 100% sure on. Do I go with an air mattress or a sleeping pad? I've seen good opinions on both options.

Rode to work this morning, nice brisk 52 degrees. Sitting here looking at camping gear. The idea of moto-camping sounds like fun, but camping gear selection is just overwhelming.

Got home from my trip, 1 customer bike sitting in the garage (07 R1) and another coming tomorrow (1800 Wing). Gotta get my bike ready for a trip in 2 weeks, new tires, oil change, and I broke down and ordered some exhaust(Birthday Present to myself). It's coming from across the pond, so who knows how long it will take to get.

The whole motorcycle classification thing still bogles my mind. I have seen some 4 wheel conversions of the Slingshot already and I know there has been an LS-Swap already done. Still, I'd rather have something that I can drive in the rain if need be with a roof. IMO Steering wheel = Car Handlebars = Motorcycle

This is a risk we take as motorcyclists. We can't predict creatures running across the road or a tree limb falling out of the sky. You can be 100% right, but you can also be dead right. If riding a motorcycle was risk-free, everyone would do it. This is also why gear is important.

I've ridden in all types of groups speeds. There have been a few times with a pace above my comfort level, and I know when to slow down.

Just got back to the lodge after eating at a little hipster diner down the road. Nice view from my room.

Just made it to the hotel. Cliffview Lodge very nice. Stopped at the Nada Tunnel while we're down here.

Bike is ready, bags are bagged for a quick 2 day trip to Kentucky with my parents.

Rode 200 or so miles down to Hillbilly Hot Dog and back. Then stuck on a new registration sticker and decided to start my 2nd saddlebags sticker collection.

When I worked a car dealership, I checked in new cars. You would be amazed how dirty they are off the truck. Especially if the truck had a hydraulic line failure.

Don't forget about the transmission seal too. If it goes out, it can destroy the clutch.

144 from route 7 over to 377 is one of my favorite roads since they repaved it.
