  1. Luckily on this forum, you don't need to use a 3rd party hosting site such as photobucket. I am trying Imgur. Seems to work ok so far.
  2. There seems to be at least one group of OR guys coming down to SEO every nice weekend. I'm sure you can find some guys to ride down with. If not, you can give me a shout, it's my backyard.
  3. I've been in this situation before. As bad as I want to stop and give someone a piece of my mind, I just tell myself "Mistakes Happen". It isn't the best explanation of the incident, but I try to give people benefit of the doubt. I think you handled the braking well. You didn't crash, so that's at least a passing grade, right? All in all, we learn from experiences like this, which makes us better riders.
  4. At 5k miles, the rear was almost into the wear bars, and the front was a little better. I am leaving Friday for a 2500 mile trip, so I didn't want to risk needing a tire while on the road. I probably could have got another 2k or so out of them. In comparison, I got 4500 out of a PR4GT Front and 7500 out of the rear, but it lost its shape at 2k miles and kept getting worse. The Roadsmarts keep their shape and felt the shape through the whole life of the tire. The Roadsmarts are my favorite tire for the FJR, I have this last set of T30s and a half used set of T30s, then I will go back to the Roadsmarts.
  5. Happy 4th of July. I worked on my motorcycle and got sunburnt in the pool. How much more merica can I be?
  6. Changed both tires on the FJR today. Almost ready for my trip next weekend. Gotta start packing.
  7. What is it with Ducatis and people wearing flip flops?
  8. Oh I hope there's an FZ10 in your future...
  9. https://petapixel.com/2017/07/01/photobucket-just-broke-billions-photos-embedded-web/ Photobucket has gone rogue. Third-Party hosting is gonna be $400/Yr. I'm glad OR has the upload feature.
  10. Rode to work this morning. Wishing I was outside on the bike. Here is a pic from yesterday's ride. Some of you may know where this is at.
  11. Not much update recently, but after seeing the picture Doc took today, I figured I would show a comparison. It's crazy how much better I feel in the bike since losing weight and adding muscle.
  12. Exactly, two non-rebuildable shocks on a bike is expensive.
  13. No sir, I would be waiting for a trailer. Glad you made it home.
  14. Yeah, but a fork rebuild is more affordable than a non-rebuildable shock...
  15. My telelever blew a fork seal at 30k miles and covered the whole front of the bike in fork oil limping it home 100 miles. First on the road failure I ever had on a bike.
  16. I got a few PVC seal drivers as well. Works great.
  17. Nice to run into you guys today. Hope your tire made it home @NinjaDoc. I finished my day at 300 miles. Less than a mile of highway.
  18. Mediocre video comparison of exhaust. Of course the video doesn't do it justice.
  19. I'll be out and about in SEO tomorrow. Maybe we will see each other along the way...
  20. Glad to see you made it past all the bullshit and still had a good time. The damn Connie is a tire eating machine.
