  1. Counted how many tires I need to take to the disposal place. 41 tires and 3 more need changed this week.
  2. Shoot, when i had my Lasik done, I was given one small Xanax, but I wasn't that nervous anyways. Of course I'm a pro with eye drops now. I've put drops in while on the bike
  3. Raining....And I forgot about it.
  4. I think I may have passed you guys Saturday. It looked like the lead bike was a Tiger riding 2-up. Glad you guys had a good ride. Weather was beautiful.
  5. I need a woman that enjoys motorcycles as much as I do, rides her own bike, and makes enough money to support my habit lol.
  6. 26 north of Woodfield from 145 wasn't that bad IMO. I didn't see any really bad spots that needed paved.
  7. The center line is painted. Edges are tar sprayed, but no edge lines yet. They only paved the southern end and stopped just before you get to 260.
  8. Sorry I didn't see this earlier, I rode 536 Saturday. Other than the train of cruisers, it is open. I rode 26, 260, 800, 536, 556, 145, & 78. All great condition.
  9. I am guilty of it, I've never worn ear plugs while riding the motorcycle. Both trips home from the gap this year, I slabbed the majority of the way home and noticed I had a slight ringing at the end of the day. So, I figured I need to consider hearing protection. I've always used the cheap foam plugs for shooting guns and when working in industrial environments, but I wanted to try some of these "filtered" ear plugs that block certain frequencies. I went to my ENT specialist to see about getting molded plugs made. For a high frequency filter molded ear plug, they were gonna be $175. Insurance does not cover them either (I asked ) So, I just ordered a set of these to try. If i don't care for the fit, I may just bite the bullet and get the molded ones. What hearing protection are you using? https://www.earpeace.com/products/earplugs?variant=1144791724
  10. Rode it to work. Sitting here planning a route for tomorrow. Probably gonna zig zag up through the east side of 77. 26, 260, 800, 536, 556, 78, etc.
  11. +1 Never met the guy, but sure see him post alot. To each their own i guess..
  12. Oh I wish I had a dollar for every clay pigeon I've hit...
  13. You guys are having some severe motorcycle withdraw... You're not gonna change anyone's political opinion on OR, so why argue about it? Were a bunch of stubborn libtards, bigots, snowflakes, or racists. Whatever the hip new label is right now. I can't keep up with it, I'm too busy riding my motorcycle.
  14. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Shoei or Arai helmets as long as the fit your head shape. My current helmet is a Shoei Neotec and my previous helmet was a Shoei Qwest (Replaced by the RF-SR now). Definitely see if you can try them on somewhere. Mike at @RidersDiscount can hook you up with an awesome deal on one.
  15. Haven't touched mine since I rolled it into the garage Sunday from the gap trip. I've been trying to find the motivation to clean it all week, maybe tomorrow... Anyone riding SEO this weekend?

    Diverge

No shit, just looked it up. That's more than some new motorcycles. They make insurance for these things?
  17. 3 days of work and I'm already in need of a vacation...
  18. I've heard the complaints about only 5 gears so many times I usually just shake my head and move on. I do wish i had the easy pull slipper clutch they use in the 16-up though. Maybe a winter project...
  19. I never seen the appeal/need of the 6th gear. I get better fuel mileage than the Connie guys and the FJR has plenty of chugging power. RPMs aren't ridiculous even when I got the cruise set at 85mph.
  20. Have you set aside money for proper gear? I know it is commonly overlooked.
  21. Paging @2talltim I know he just got one not too long ago.
